floridagold i got a big question for you and everybody

Posted by WANKA @ 19:00 on July 5, 2014

under the ‘add media’ bar in your posting window is there a tool bar that stretches across the window with a bunch of little tabs icons?

floridagold no that didn’t quite work either…

Posted by WANKA @ 18:49 on July 5, 2014

i lost a smiley on 3 per line only 2 resolver in vis mode. text is no problem at all for all the smilies in the world but visual mode is somewhat different. i’m watching the utune weston posted on the wordpress tutorial. so far so good but havent gotten to the tricky stuff. this will be on the sidebar for sure.

I hope you are writing all that stuff down – I would have NEVER thought of putting two spaces in front and having to add two spaces after it.  I might can understand the two spaces in front – but  WHY would a program make you put two spaces AFTER it????

I always posted in VISUAL at the Tent – only time it was any different was when I would have to click on LINK when I wanted to post a YOUTUBE.    You computer guru’s know all about this code stuff -but I just be a poor old washed up golfer!  🙂    I’ll get it figured out tho !

Posted by WANKA @ 17:50 on July 5, 2014

there are 2 tabs upper right of your posting window. one is ‘visual’ and next to it is ‘text’. some things post better in text and some things better in visual. i’m getting used to visual as the primary unlike pp where i always posted in text and had no choice but what we set for our profiles. i really like the use of these 2 tabs. like in visual for a utube post the copy url and for text its copy inbed code. right now i’m writing in text mode and can switch it to visual…now in visual. a little different behavior like pics and cartoon you can actuall see when posting unlike text where they show up as computer code. both settings i’m finding have thier individual value. i really like this version of WP. we have more ability then the PP’s older version.

so far my friend so good. here is a cheering smiley in the visual mode. toon1cotr

Nice punch -somehow I expect the vendor had a little something EXTRA in his hand – glad he did -wonder if the Thug has woke up yet ? 🙂

p.s.  I have no idea what those symbols after my question mark are – one was suppose to be a smilit !

street justice at its best. otr

The following video, taken on the Atlantic City Boardwalk shows how very quickly a simple disagreement can turn violent.

An unknown individual is seen arguing with a street vendor and pushing his street booth against the man in what can only be described as an act of thuggery. The vendor is seen trying to back away from the man, but the thug would have none of it.

As the vendor backs up, the thug keeps moving towards him, cutting off any escape route. Words turn to fists and the thug lunges forward with a pretty powerful punch.

The vendor, having anticipated the violent action, immediately moves off of the assailants attack line and out of the way.

After that it’s lights out.

As you watch the video pay close attention to the street vendor’s right hand. While he attempted all methods of avoiding confrontation – stepping backwards from the fight, walking away, and even putting his hands up in a universal non-confrontational manner – it is clear that he went into the situation with the assumption that this individual might take it further than just a screaming match. As such, he concealed what seems to be some sort of metallic weapon in his right hand.

After the thug lunges towards the vendor, the subsequent counter-attack is swift and devastating.

The thug literally never knew what hit him.
