Loading ...“One of the reasons” for high wood pricing in Nova Scotia ……. wood cutters previously could cut on Gov’y Land (for a small fee/lease arrangement) or on Private land. Gov’y has “arranged” that Crown land wood cutting would go all to the local pulp and paper mills (sweet little deal) , putting a squeeze on private woodlot owners and prices of course rose this year for Joe Six Pack.
