What will the Swiss Do?

Posted by Auandag @ 23:04 on November 16, 2014

And there you have it: it wasn’t transportation, or “good delivery standards” concerns, or anything remotely related to Germany “decididng its gold is safe in American hands”, but just the opposite: Germany was pressured to keep its gold in the US after a “diplomatic” line of communication was opened, most likely the result of the Fed making it all too clear clear to the Bundesbank not only who runs the show, but what the assured failure to repatriate Germany’s gold would mean for “price stability.

Which has, for now at least, ended Germany’s gold repatriation demands.

Now the question is, just how will the US pressure the Swiss “diplomatically” to make sure its own gold repatriation referendum does not succeed. Because if Germany failed miserably to obtain 674 tons of gold in 2013, it is assured that Switzerland will find absolutely nothing in its quest to obtain more than double, or 1,500 tons, of gold as a successful November 30 referendum outcome would require.

Then again, considering it was Obama’s action that destroyed the Swiss banking sector after the US crushed the centuries-long tradition of “Swiss banking anonymity”, this could be just the right action with which “neutral” Switzerland could finally take its revenge on the regime that cost it what was for centuries the primary source of capital inflow into the small and so very prosperous (until then) central-European nation.

re Japan returns to recession after economy contracts 1.6 pct

What do they expect?? We have three Sony TV sets here. NOT made in Japan. All made in China. Sony got their start and grew in Japan. Many USA companies also got their start and grew in the USA. Then they get very big, and throw their original country under the bus. No gratitude at all.

i too think this could be a very interesting week

Japan returns to recession after economy contracts 1.6 pct in July-Sept in 2nd straight drop

Posted by Floridagold @ 20:46 on November 16, 2014

(AP:TOKYO) TOKYO (AP) — Japan reported Monday that its economy contracted at a real annual rate of 1.6 percent in July-September, in a second straight quarterly decline that returned the country to recession.

A 24.1 percent plunge in private residential investment from a year earlier failed to offset a modest recovery in exports and a 1.5 percent increase in household spending.

Most economists had forecast that the world’s third-biggest economy would expand at about a 2 percent pace. The negative growth figure was much lower than expected and makes it very likely Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will delay implementation of a sales tax hike planned for October, 2015.

The economy contracted 7.1 percent in April-June after the national sales tax was raised to 8 percent from 5 percent. The decline in July-September represented a 0.4 percent decrease from the previous quarter.

The release Monday of the preliminary quarterly economic data, normally a routine event, was received with far more attention than usual since Abe is expected to make the dismal GDP reading the basis for calling a general election.

“In light of the sharp fall in today’s preliminary estimate, it now looks likely that (Prime Minister) Abe will call off the hike and announce snap elections,” economist Marcel Thieliant of Capital Economics said in a commentary.

The benchmark Nikkei 225 stock index dropped 1.4 percent in its first hour of trading.

A recession commonly is regarded as two straight quarters of economic contraction. Japan emerged from its last recession in late 2012, just as Abe took office pledging to restore the country’s economic vigor.

In calling the snap election, Abe wants a renewed mandate for his “Abenomics” policies aimed at revitalizing the economy through lavish injections of cash into the economy by the central bank, strong public spending and reforms intended to improve the country’s waning economic competitiveness.

Tax increases are crucial for getting Japan’s battered government finances into better shape, and putting off the hike slated for next year carries some risk that financial markets may doubt Japan’s resolve to restore its ailing public finances. After many years of deficit spending the total public debt is more than twice the size of the economy and the largest among developed nations.

But Abe and his advisers appear to view the threat to Japan’s recovery, which has limped along since the April 1 increase in the sales tax to 8 percent from 5 percent, as the more urgent risk.

Critics say Abe has failed to deliver on promises for drastic reforms of labor regulations, the tax system and the health industry, among other areas. Meanwhile, companies have largely refrained from passing windfall gains from share price gains and surging profits on to their workers in the form of higher wages.

The extreme monetary easing by the Bank of Japan has helped drive the value of the Japanese yen to seven-year lows against the U.S. dollar, pushing up costs for imported food and fuel in this resource-scarce country.

Meanwhile, household spending has remained lackluster, as families and small companies tightened belts to meet higher costs.

Gold “Bear” Tent?  LOL!  Personally I stopped believing that TA has any value at all except for the manipulators to ‘paint’ with… and lead the sheep.   I wouldn’t give fully my web ‘hit’ by looking in there, either.  But thanks for the amusing report!  🙂

Be nice if we actually did put up a fight for a change. I believe BoPo still thinks $2K gold happens by year end. Only $20K and you can find out for sure! 🙂

Interesting week coming up.

Nothing makes sense anymore. The corruption runs unbelievably deep. There is no media, just gov’t ops and media repeaters.

“In a shocking report released this week, the FBI is admitting that the 2012 Sandy Hook School shooting was not a shooting at all. It was an exercise that local media misreported on, and then government officials perpetuated the hoax in hopes of bringing about gun control legislation.

Many questions regarding why “parents” were laughing, first responders were not going in and out of the school and later no medical personnel were permitted are now answered.

Government officials at the highest levels began giving orders to ensure that it was treated as a real event and not the training exercise it actually was.

The FBI’s report can be found by clicking here. (Scroll down to Newtown and you’ll find that 0 people were killed in that city in calendar year 2012).

One final observation. If President Obama knew, and he most certainly did, that this “event” was simply an exercise, then lying to Congress, the American public, and others in an attempt to pass legislation to curb our 2nd Amendment rights may rise to the level of High Crimes as required by our Constitution for impeachment. ”

My take: Now this report is being “debunked” by snopes and the other usual suspects. They say FBI often bungles the data, and that this report means nothing. To me its just another factoid in a long list of problems with the Sandy Hook story.

This is good

I remember when Armstrong would tell people to write letters to banks not allowing them to use their money for trade.

Instead of hanging around bars waiting for them to dive off to arrest people to get money they can hang around banks and rob people soon as they drive off make a withdrawal. That’s probably what they’re already doing. The bank calls them says so and so just withdrew a certain amount of money and until laws are changed are free to rob them.
So what is he saying. If you hold cash it’s not yours ” as long as their free to rob you” but if you put it in the bank it’s not yours either.
Sounds like a scare tactic to me to force all digital with a warning when the next crisis comes you can lose all.
Yes Armstrong, civil asset forfeiture is a travesty of the American way, originally instituted to fight crime and now used by unscrupulous jurisdictions to supplement their budgets,,
So where’s the ACLU and the law suits against these people and travesties against the people?

Well said and they fail to see the fine line between the freedom they were given by our ancestors to “even have the right to political correctness” which through time has just shown to be a fad of the times and always changes, to freedom of speech to those who chose not to go along with fads or subcultures language. Without the constitution they hate these idiots don’t realize any right they had would be eliminated with the next fad or leader who came around.
That the constitution is permanent and not a fad or to be changed by an agenda to sequester the freedoms of one over another. To these people the constitution is seen as a threat to their own aspirations of power over others and Obama and his selected anti american group is the worst so far. Bush set the seeds of that happening.
Not just in schools where they are trying to indoctrinate children in their anticonstitutional agendas you even have to watch what they are watching on TV. A ped nurse told me she couldn’t change the channel quick enough after seeing a cartoon character with not only using bad words for kids but taser some character over and over and laughing. Getting them desensitized to brutality from others. Gov?
Political correctness is not a law it’s a idea thought up. It’s everywhere. A trash collector called waist management or something? It can’t be in forced unless you let it.

The Germans…. and soon the Swiss…. can’t get their gold back.  We knew this was coming.  Now it’s apparently here.   It’s like the music has stopped and all the international dancers are looking for a chair to sit on… and there are no chairs at all!    What do they do now?   Pretend to keep dancing to the silence, of course!  The first one to drop to the floor will signal that the dance is finally over.   It won’t be long now.

Rumor has it that there are plenty golden chairs in the East, now.

Thanks for those. Very depressing to see all that they have put into place since 1969. But also heartening to see that in some areas they have not succeeded, yet.

The usual take away from these kinds of revelations are that the NWO is a gargantuan and unstoppable force—so shadowy that we don’t even know who or what to oppose in order to defend ourselves and our culture.

But I would suggest that the great Trojan horse that many of these changes rode in on is political correctness, multiculturalism, vastly increased immigration, and open borders. These forces have destroyed traditional values, livelihoods, and communities. Political correctness, enforced by the media, the academy, and our so-called leaders has been so unrelenting that now we police ourselves. Traditional sex roles have been thrown out the window, and men have been increasingly victimized by the divorce courts and affirmative action.

How many are aware that whites will be a minority in the US by 2050? They already are a minority in California, and it is clear now how this demographic change has affected politics in that fair state. Floridagold, your cartoon at 9:29 is no laughing matter. We need to stand up and fight for ourselves!

I would also add that “racist” is a hate slur hurled at White people to prevent them from opposing their genocide.
