Loading ...all is well here at treefrog manor. the storm made landfall 400-500 miles west of here. (houma/morgan city) we got some rain from the fringe, and a little breeze, but nothing to get excited about. we did have a big (20 tons?) tree down a couple weeks ago, but that has on a calm day – just that tree’s time to go.
my son and son-in-law descended on it in an competitive frenzy (“my chainsaw’s bigger than your chainsaw!” they’re both gear/tool obsessive.), and reduced it to firewood – with the help of a hydraulic log splitter. there will be no shortage of firewood anytime soon!
