Someone else trying to make the battle flag illegal. They are playing this for all they can get out of it. Maybe they should go to chicage see how well that is working for them. I’m guessing or hoping enough voters show up that these people won’t be around anymore. Hopefully well get rid of a few incumbents and bunch of law makers gone rouge. The bate ” battle” flag is a historic relic and wasn’t the national flag that flew nor over slavery. It was a battle flag. The flag that flew over the nation and slavery was the US flag and wouldn’t doubt it they try to attack that next. Even Grant has slaves and didn’t free them till after the war saying good help was hard to find. So there were even in the north. This is just BS.These witch hunting morons also don’t realize it’s taking the tourist factors out of their states. People wanting to visit the south well historic artifacts being desecrated and destroyed aren’t going to be places that are on top of their list as places to see or support the people doing it. There is a thing that makes the south unique and trying to steal its identity by playing the race card again. The battle flag was not a slave flag it was a battle flag. Period.

Should the liberals attempt that in my neck of the woods they would be gone missing within the blink of an eye.  Around here the Confederate dead are honored.

And What About the 100mill out of Work??????

A Message to the Peasants – Jeb Bush Says Americans Need to Work Longer Hours

The morons keep marching on!

the confederacy was all about states rights. The civil war made the federal government a central unit rather than a collection of states. We are now seeing the end game of central collection and dispersal of fiat. The federal government can force unfounded mandates on states without a vote. Every American is now $250,000. In debt without their consent.

the lemmings are running over the cliff in record numbers. The have-nots are now demanding all the resources others have worked a lifetime to acquire.

the bail ins will begin soon in this country. If you have wealth that someone else can punch a few computer keys and take it, I would suggest you get your assets in your physical control so that if confiscation is ordered, they will have to “kiss the dog”.

Now they want to dig up graves of confederate soldiers and remove statues. Their like termites, now this park once with history can just be another  park gone to wayside that’s not safe for kids to go to. Guess they think that’s better.

The discussion in the United States over the Confederate Flag has reached a fever pitch.

Shortly after Dylann Roof shot nine dead in a Charleston church the news was all over the details on how he had used the Confederate flag in his personal life.

So, leftists and politically correct moderates, decided the only thing to do was to create a big fuss out of nothing and get the flag banned wherever it might be.

It was absolutely insane to see how the opposition to the flag reached a fever pitch as well as insane to see how retailers across the country complied with idiotic bans of the flag. Apple computers even went so far as to pull all games containing the flag (even civil war games) off of their online app store.

And Walmart, who caters to conservatives all across of the nation, gave into the whining of liberals as they pulled the flag from stores and off their online shops.

And if you wanted to go to Walmart and make a cake with the Confederate flag on it, well good luck!

Walmart refused to honor such requests based on a pretend policy to not make something that might offend someone else.

However, their hypocrisy was soon exposed.

Vice News reports how one man showed them to be hypocrites of the highest degree.

They report:

Chuck Netzhammer went to a Walmart in Slidell, Louisiana last week to get a personalized cake with a Confederate flag on it and the slogan “Heritage Not Hate.” The retailer, however, had just announced it would stop selling Confederate flag merchandise in response to the Charleston church shooting, so the store refused to bake the cake for Netzhammer.

In response to the denial, Netzhammer then placed an order for another sheet cake — this time with the black and white flag brandished by the so-called Islamic State, also known as ISIS.

“I went back yesterday and managed to get an ISIS battle flag printed. ISIS happens to be somebody who we’re fighting against right now, who are killing our men and boys overseas and are beheading Christians,” he told ABC News.

That’s right, the nation’s largest retailer put the ISIS battle flag right on a cake. The same flag that flies over the bloated corpses of the 250,000 some they’ve killed in the past two years.

Walmart was quick to back pedal and say the associate who made the cake was unaware they were making a cake representing ISIS and proceeded to apologize for the incident.

It’s unclear what’s more problematic, that the confederate flag is being banned from retailers, or that people would be so quick to create ISIS honoring paraphernalia.

Dam! They found out.

The Big Food Sugar Switch

Professor for cell biology at ETH Zurich’s Institute for Molecular Health Sciences, Wilhelm Krek summarizes the problem with today’s nutrition. He explains that fructose was a replacement for glucose, which at one point in time, was believed to be better for consumers.

At first blush, you can see why this was believed. While glucose spikes blood sugar levels and causes insulin secretions, fructose hardly makes them budge. And since it ‘tastes’ sweeter, food manufacturers thought it was an ideal food additive.

Unfortunately, the assumption that fructose (including high fructose corn syrup) was any better, was dead wrong. The liver converts fructose directly into fat. People who consume lots of fructose end up developing high blood pressure, suffering from obesity, and developing insulin resistance, among other health issues. Doctors usually call this metabolic syndrome – and for some time, they couldn’t figure out why so many Americans were so overweight.

In the past 30 years, the obesity rates in the US (and other fast-food nations) have absolutely sky-rocketed. It isn’t even necessarily because we are eating more and lacking physical exercise, or even because of genetics.

Medical bills to treat diseases associated with obesity are more than $200 billion annually now. Much of the obesity problem lies in food additives like fructose which food companies are so eager to put in their products.

Fructose, since it is sweeter, also causes us to desire sweeter and sweeter foods to satiate that taste while also limiting the secretion of leptin, a hormone which tells our brains we are satiated.

Furthermore, mercury is used in the production process of many types of fructose. So products which contain fructose also often contain traces of mercury.

This is old news though. These dangers of fructose are well established. In a new paper by Krek and Peter Mirtschink, an even more troubling side effect of fructose is described.

Fructose Causes an Overgrown Heart Muscle

Unknown previously, but verified through their research and recently published in Nature, fructose has been discovered to be a key driver for a molecular mechanism that drives uncontrolled growth of the heart muscle. This condition can eventually lead to complete heart failure, as the heart literally outgrows its ability to function within the body.

What’s more, since one consumes fructose to cause this issue, they likely have high blood pressure as well, which is a one-two punch to the cardiovascular system.

It’s also important to note that the growing heart requires more oxygen. When one has high blood pressure, the veins have a more difficult time pumping oxygen-rich blood to the heart. In an effort to keep us alive, our heart cells switch to an alternate supply of energy that is anaerobic in nature. The body goes into glycolysis — literally, the ‘splitting of sugars’. This, in turn, sets up a fatal chain reaction. The heart actually grows since it is harder to pump the blood through the circulatory system.

In the study, researchers discovered that a lack of oxygen within the heart’s cells would ‘flip a switch’ wherein HIF molecules “cause the heart muscle cells to produce ketohexokinase-C (KHK-C), the central enzyme in fructose metabolism. KHK-C has a high affinity for fructose and can therefore process it very efficiently. The production of KHK-C also has a reinforcing effect on glycolysis.”

The researchers also found that processed foods containing fructose were worrisome for instigating heart failure, whereas, normal consumption of fruit, since it contains fiber, vitamins, and important trace elements, did not have the same effect on the body.

Fructose in our Food Supply

The per capita consumption of high fructose corn syrup (largely made from GM corn) has skyrocketed. You would perhaps expect fructose to be in cakes, cookies, and even TV dinners, but what about yogurt, peanut butter, ketchup, iced tea, or tonic water? Surprised? Most people are.

Another reason to avoid fructose is that its most common form, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), is derived from genetically modified corn. That means it was developed in a lab, not grown and milled before it ended up in your table. The food we purchase from our grocery stores comes from crops which are absolutely dominated by GM seed.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention weight gain data illustrates that our obesity epidemic accelerated dramatically after GMO foods were introduced in the early 1990s. It is estimated that more than 80% of everything eaten in the US now is genetically altered since Americans rely so heavily on processed foods for their daily calories.

There are ways to avoid this, though. You have to really read food labels to avoid fructose entirely, including purchasing certified organic foods that would not contain GM HFCS. A list of foods containing fructose is also listed here.

Or, better yet, stay away from anything in a package, and eat a piece of real fruit. You’ll enjoy better health and avoid Big Food’s numerous additional additives and GMOs besides fructose in the process. Real health requires real food, and our hearts are heavy from the burden of corporate food greed. This latest study proves it.

Interesting perspective.

The US government admits that our drones have killed innocents and it doesn’t even pretend that who we target is always the victim we kill. Drones do from the air, what the Special Forces do on the ground. They do not aid in capturing suspects, or bringing anyone to justice. Their only purpose is to kill. And they are killing in such countries as Yemen and Pakistan – countries we don’t even pretend to be at war with.

The act of ordering someone killed from the White House – someone not wearing a uniform and not in formal combat — has gone on for a long time. But it has really escalated under Barack Obama. People of all political persuasions should be concerned about that, but what is really puzzling is how all this is being viewed from the left.

In an editorial applauding the assassination of bin Laden, The New York Times quoted President Obama as saying “justice has been done.” But then the same editorial went on to say:

Much will be made of the fact that the original tip came from detainees at the prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. There is no evidence that good intelligence like this was the result of secret detentions or abuse and torture. Everything suggests the opposite.

Think about that. Both President Obama and the New York Times have criticized the Bush administration for “torture.” (They water boarded three prisoners.) Both think that the detentions at Guantanamo are violations of civil rights. Both think that if we capture one of the bad guys, they should have all the rights of ordinary criminals.

But if we kill someone, that is just fine and dandy.

And public policy has conformed to the left’s peculiar view of justice. These days we are not capturing bad guys. We are not detaining them. We are not questioning them.

We are just killing them. And, of course, we hope we killed the right guys.

thought that hiring Goldman Sachs and Lloyd Blankfein to help them get into the European Union and the EURO was a good way to Fuck the IMF and German Banks by offering Blankfein enough goodies to look good and GET a BIG FAT BONUS  for getting Greece in with a Phony Balance Sheet and a good Debt GDP RATIO ….Did they really think the Bankers would accommodate the Greeks and stick it to the Banks ?  HA HA  in the end The Bankers stood together ..Blankfein got his BONUS and Goldman added it to the Greek Citizens DEBT that will be takin over by the Citizens in the NEW DEAL….So the Greeks got into the Euro and the Price was Blankfeins BONUS and more debt than they had prior to “Goldmanns Help” plus Interest ..  NOW the Austerity Starts… IT ALL  would have been Cheaper had they not hired Goldman and NOT paid Blankfeins bonus to do it in the beginning with an honest debt to GDP Ratio !

The Bankers stood together and sent a message ” dont try to use us to stick it to a fellow Banker” ……Goodbye Greece ! Now your Politicians will be the TARGET of the Citizens wrath with a vengeance…!
