“Will holding pm’s and pm’ shares be an adequate strategy for retirement or is it too risky?”

You tell me!  All I know is don’t count on it but don’t discount it.

The racketeering immoral heartless scum are like cornered rats and will attack to the death rather than give in and be captured.  For that reason I am sure there is notable risk that in the endgame we are jailed for collusion or possession of illegal financial assets – or big gains from holding select stocks will be investigated as gaming the market and the gains taxed away as windfall.  – Whatever they need to do to make an example for others to see that there is no escape.

But being a generally positive person I won’t give in totally but I won’t rely on the PM sector alone.  So far the only sure bet in my mind, not being in the 0.0000001%, is to never stop working.  Or have 12 kids and hope a few of them remember you in your final years?.

Let me know if your research gives you other ideas worth sharing.

I do have a friend who seems to be doing well in his investing and he says “Its easy!  Just find a company that is truly transformative in its approach and invest in them!”  He rode Amazon up, ROKU, Bitcoin,  many other similar rocketships in the past.  Early in the internet days he bought a bunch of printers and set up an online printing service where people would send him documents and photographs to be printed and $ent by mail back to the customer.  Said he paid for all the printers and made a few tens of thousands before it died down due to competition.  Every week I see him at the skating rink he has more recommendations but I’m too busy to chase paper like that… Maybe I can change my priorities and actively follow the stock market?? naaaa
