Loading ...Yes, those copper based paints were taken off the market. But, pure copper blades should do the trick easily. Pure copper will hold up in salt water…I think. The copper based paints were highly effective against barnacles but, gradually dissolved. Instead of painting the hull every year I was able to go on a three year schedule.
