Gold Silver Buy Prices?

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 21:22 on September 15, 2016

Texas Metals I heard were good, but I could not find buy prices.

Apmex had buy prices:
Junk Silver Coins with Silver at $19 = $13.58 for $1 or $13.58 times face value.
Buy Price, $13.12 sell price $15.76

Silver Eagles at spot $19 + $22.60 sell, $20.31 buy.

Here’s one with buy sell prices on Silver.

Imo not a good time to sell. If the USA goes “brexit” after the election of Trump, like the UK, the dollar might drop hard like the Pound did after the announcement.

Might be a big story – tit for tat? Apple for DB? Trade war?

Deutsche Bank Slapped With $14 Billion Fine By DOJ Over Mortgage Probe

Blowback? Just a few weeks after the EU slapped Apple with a $14 billion bill for “back taxes,” the U.S. has responded with $14 billion fine on Deutsche Bank related to the DOJ’s outstanding probe into the company’s trading of mortgage-backed securities during the financial crisis.

Thanks for posting the Still Report. He is one of my favorites, close to The Corbett report in honesty and integrity IMO. I always appreciate his views.

The local guy here charges 50 or 60 cents premium for generic silver rounds when you sell. Kitco are ripoffs don’t sell your coins there.

Goldie’s comments and allow me to add:

Goldie, I always marvel at your posts!..Trust, honor ..your insight in these times..

Just a very insightful comment , to the Metalguy. You have encountered a lesson in life. Only buy bullion in recognized bars, and coins. In my experience, J&M , RCM, to suggest a few of the many universal …spot priced and sold bullion. I could additionally add…I like RCM recently due to .9999 purity.

BUT the caveat…always

Bullion is bullion…your rounds are worth spot. Unfortunately, you are selling at a time of market suppression. When this market turns, and I suggest we on the cusp. You will sell at a premium for whatever paper or digit is available being expectable, at that given time.

The moment you read the terms rare and limited…enough shared.

Regarding , Master Wanda, I personally wish You the very best pathway to life quality. Besides old salts…are tough. This site, the “other site” and the old site ( I remember well) owes you in merits which cannot be expressed. You are an honorable mariner. You have and will continue be an exceptionable walker.

Mr. Copper…I do believe you too are a honorable American and would/cannot believe the nation you were born into has changed. Frankly , well before you were born it was on the manipulated and controlled slope…The last stand land mass …being lost…again I digress. Open your reality…the very best..I can share again is WTC7…

Regarding , the daily casino…you know, they know, I know the end is swiftly evolving. Either they win and NWO transforms humanity or they will burn it to the ground trying.

Always in the best interest to the global sheep..which they have historically harvested…from time never ending. ( Caveat in the history you have been taught)

In conclusion, we the “walkers” of this time will have had ( LIVED WITHIN A TIME) the pinnacle of freedom, of life, of unlimited travel, education, etc etc…and etc….completely driven by a Grand illusion..the planet was endless in its surface of real inhabitable  terrain and never ending resources… Frankly I marvel at the complete  …depth to this illusion and the sheep grazing to the last mouth full…it is our right……

Frostbite/ and few other aliases, smile.

Did I ever share the times …

folks enjoy life..smile.

I apologize if this is too bold ..smile.

Kitco is a royal rip off

Posted by eeos @ 17:31 on September 15, 2016

Even Coloradogold.com buys back at a 1% difference in spot. Trying to make a deal work with Kitco is like making a deal with the Devil.  if you buy from Coloradogold you can sell back with no commission. But that seems too logical.

I don’t know how the silver maples go but here the only thing you can really get spot for is the Eagles perhaps like the Maples  there. I don’t think you can even get spot price for silver maples here, only Eagles.

But what is considered bullion usually doesn’t get as much as spot price. The best time  to sell them is when spot is moving up but still the non eagle bullion usually doesn’t get as much. The down side of moving up the graded coins like MS 69-70 eagles won’t get more than spot unless they have some limited edition value but still considered billion but yet they will turn around and sell them for more. A eagle is a eagle no matter the grade less you sell privately. You’ll have to pass them down a few generations to be worth more.

Perhaps check some other coin sellers but usually they have to be recognizable and something ghey sell. I haven’t sold to them but seen their buy offers which are less than their sell offers.

Dow Bottom?

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 16:20 on September 15, 2016

I think there’s a good chance the Dow has made a little blow-off bottom on 9th 12th and 13th Fri Mon and Tue. Look at the high volume day bars on chart. Also look at high volume day bars in June. They often lead to reversal of trend.

If the Dow recovers it should also lift the miners

First Majestic – Silver Rounds

Posted by MetalsGuy @ 15:58 on September 15, 2016

Just a heads up: A few years ago I purchased some silver rounds from First Majestic. I live in Canada and in preparing to sell some of these rounds found that Kitco would only pay $16.75US, based on todays price of $18.99US! They basically wanted to pay me scrap price. I’m not sure if this is a common issue with these rounds.

Don’t step on any alligators!

Posted by goldielocks @ 15:14 on September 15, 2016

Had a similar experience going off the path in Puerto Vallarta. The bus passed, another vehicle coming so drove up a shoulder that was a little hill turning the bus sideways a bit before turning back down to the street.I thought it was kinda funny and just rode it while my long time friend was firmly grabbing the seat like you. I kinda knew what to expect living in LA before, he didn’t. Keep your bus money in one place only a few bucks keep your other other somewhere else like in a shoe. When I pulled out a few bucks of US dollars every eye on that bus looked up at me. Also try not to get hit. They probably won’t stop. I think they do that on purpose to Gringos too. What ever your doing good luck  or enjoy your vacation.

This trip to Belize

Posted by redneckokie1 @ 14:34 on September 15, 2016

I get picked up at the airport anticipating a nice trip to western Belize. As we are going by the federal prison, the driver pulls out to pass a bus. As we are passing the bus, another bus is coming from the opposite direction. The driver continues on as if we are on a six lane highway in the USA rather than a narrow unmarked road. We are too close to the bus to open the door and bail so I grabbed the bottom of the seat to brace for impact. At that moment, both busses stopped at their respective bus stops to load/unload passengers and we want comfortably between. As I was about to exhale, the driver said, “after I left the house, the master cylinder quit working.” I had a death grip on the seat frame the rest of the way to the border!

Seems some things never change.

Anyone know the official process if Hillary wakes up dead?

Re Gold Down PMs Dow SnP Up

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 11:40 on September 15, 2016

I’ve noticed this during this YTD gold run. It looks like our mining stocks are now part of the general stock market (as they should be) INSTEAD of being attached to the volatile heavily margined Futures Market, which they should NOT be.

This could be another major reversal of the past situation. Futures investors and Stock market investors are two totally different animals.

World’s hottest stock is a 430% rally in a Peruvian silver miner

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:46 on September 15, 2016

LONDON – The most impressive advance in the stock market this year is a little-known Peruvian miner that rode the comeback in silver.

Hochschild Mining, which operates three mines in Peru and one in Argentina, has soared 432% in 2016, beating every other company in the Bloomberg World Index of 5 125 stocks.

Higher silver prices, new production from its flagship Inmaculada mine in Peru and the weakening Argentine peso have made the stock a favourite for investors. Hochschild has cut back on debt and is expected to report its first profit after three years of losses.

Now the company’s strategy is focusing on finding new reserves of silver and gold near current plants and using more of its processing capacity, according to Ignacio Bustamante, CEO of Hochschild. He plans to avoid buying any new assets.

“There’s going to be a lot of pressure from investors not to do M&A,” Bustamante said. “There’s been a lot of value destruction in acquisitions.”
