Loading ...I was a Valley girl but a surfer and love for the sea maybe in bred from my Gramp Navy from WW11. Had some crossroads at about 21 so took off to the beach to think and found a little place in Sunset Beach next to Huntington and Seal and wound up staying. Inland wasn’t anything like the beach area. The ocean was my back yard steps away. The Inland has changed. Took one of my grand kids to Disney few years ago and to teach him about surfing and when they went to Disney I went to the beach. On the way back a few blocks away from Disney I did not see one white person, not one in cars stores or streets or blacks either. It was like I was in a different country. All my friends were gone moved out of the state. Before I left even some cops said they were leaving. Now too a lot of chinese have moved in too. One thing was still there though, the energy, and the energy in most people no matter who they were.
