I am extremely sorry to hear what our Wanka is going through. He’s a great old friend of ours starting way back in the G-E days. My wife is like Goldilocks, very knowledgeable in health matters, recommended info. I was intending to send this directly to Wanka, but since you are closer to him, decided to present it to you first, to relay info by phone, or forward tent link to him.

An oncologist we know said many people do well on it. In cases where a patient did not do well, an alternative compounding pharmacy was recommended. Maybe Wanka and his Dr. should look into this drug. Good for many ailments. Requires a LOW dose prescription, and has to be specially made but not expensive. $45/mo depending on the dose size.
We need Wanka to feel better, ASAP.
