Thanks for that Maya. An encore of one of the best (41 year old) guitar duels ever. Joe’s devilish animation is fantastic.

Whoa… DUDE!  Joe Walsh is one of my all time favorites.  Caught him live at Asbury Park, NJ back in 1972 with the James Gang at the time.  The whole auditorium was smoked up.  At one point Joe got on the mic and yelled “Now put out that joint and CLAP!”

During my years of fandom, I didn’t know until just a few years ago that Joe is also a Ham Radio operator… and he does high speed morse code!  Whenever I would hear an interview with Joe, I always thought he had a bit of brain damage from too much drugs.  He speaks slow and hesitant.  But in one interview I read in the ham magazine he said he has a ‘musical brain’ and he’s more comfortable expressing music on the guitar instead of speaking.  This explains why he is proficient at high speed morse code….  it’s like music to his brain and he would rather do that than speak.   Now I understand Joe’s brain.  He put out a new album just a few years back, and I love the title song:

I rarely post but have hung around the tent since it began. I always appreciate everyone’s ideas and comments. The tent is my favorite place to go for commentary etc., seems to be one of the few places to find the real truth and facts. Stay long and strong – our day will come.

Liar Media Says USA Should Not Tariff Allies, But Copper Media Says Allies Put Tariffs On US Products

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:29 on March 12, 2018

Why is nobody talking about that??? Story below describes how the USA was the bastion of self protectionism until 1913, after which the foreigners got control and created the “Income Tax” to fund the gov’t. Won independence 1776 lost independence 1913. This is simple stuff.

Tariffs in United States history.

The tariff history of the United States spans from colonial times to present. The first tariff law passed by the U.S. Congress, acting under the then recently ratified Constitution, was the Tariff of 1789. Its purpose was to generate revenue for the federal government (to run the government and to pay the interest on its debt), and also to act as a protective barrier around domestic industries.[1] An Import tax was collected by treasury agents before goods could be landed at U.S. ports.

Tariffs have historically served a key role in the nation’s foreign trade policy. They were the greatest (approaching 95% at times) source of federal revenue until the

>>>Federal income tax began after 1913<<<<. For well over a century the federal government was largely financed by tariffs averaging about 20% on foreign imports.

Tariffs were the main source of revenue for the federal government from 1789 to 1914. During this period, there was vigorous debate between the various political parties over the setting of tariff rates. In general Democrats favored a tariff that would pay the cost of government, but no higher. Whigs and Republicans favored higher tariffs to protect and encourage American industry and industrial workers. Since the early 20th century, however, U.S. tariffs have been very low and have been much less a matter of partisan debate.

Easy false flag opportunity … just sayin ….

Congo’s Kabila signs into law new mining code

DAKAR, March 9 (Reuters) – Democratic Republic of Congo President Joseph Kabila signed into law on Friday a new mining code that raises royalties and taxes on operators, the presidency said in a statement.

International mining companies that operate in Congo, Africa’s top copper producer, have vigorously opposed the new law, although Kabila pledged this week to work with them while implementing it.

The law, passed by parliament in late January, replaces an earlier code from 2002. It raises royalties on minerals across the board and removes a clause that protected miners from changes to the fiscal and customs regime for 10 years.
