They got sucker punched real good, in ’01 and threw them off totally stride. The reaction TPTB did, to avoid enemy satisfaction of a collapsing economy, postponed or delayed the ’01 collapse until the meltdown in ’08. Its all very simple.
The ’01 and ’08 situations added enormous unneeded security expenses or costs to their so called “global community”.
