Ipso, Re Gold Miners On American Soil

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:13 on October 11, 2018

There are many, I can’t think of right now. I have one GSV. We have to research. Just google US Gold mines. Canadian mines are probably a good bet too, but if they are only based there, and have many mines in shit countries, like FCX and Indonesia, may want to avoid them. The bottom line is any mining co stock, even bad ones, can go up a lot if its simply popular with investors. Like a popularity contest. When I look at my sectors lists, I like the best performers over long term like 6 months. Then looking at the one month column, you can spot the best performers there. Some folks might want the laggards.

For example, YTD performers. KL 28%, GORO 26%, SA 30%,AKG 22%.

One month performers. PGLC 104%, SA32%, ABX 27%, GOLD 26%, SBGL 25%, GSV 24%. Then there is the Silver sector, Diversified Metals, Precious metals, Copper etc.

stories:

The United States is the third-largest gold-producing country, after South Africa and Australia. Mines in Nevada account for more than 80 percent of U.S. production. According to a 2005 article in The New York Times, Nevada had approximately 20 open pit gold mines, about half of the active mines in the United States. Other prominent U.S. gold mines are located in Alaska and Colorado.
