The Israeli government supports the Christian communities and works to encourages them to remain in Israel. One example was the prevention of the construction of the Shihab al-Din Mosque adjacent to the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth, despite strong political support from Israeli Muslim groups.

In recent years, there has been an initiative by many young Christians to volunteer for the IDF and the police and, simultaneously, a sizable number are integrating into public administration and government ministries. In the general elections held on 22 January 2013, an Arab Christian, Dr. Hanna Swaid of the Hadash party, was elected to the 19th Knesset.

Today, as people around the world celebrate Christmas, Christian soldiers serving in the IDF are off duty and at home with their families for the holiday. The growing community of Christian IDF soldiers recently gathered for a special forum to recognize their contribution to the State of Israel.

Nearly 90 Christian soldiers from all over the country and from all IDF units came together earlier this week in Nazareth Illit for an event organized by the Israeli Christians Recruitment Forum. Although it has only been around for a little over a year, its impact has been astounding. Since its founding, the number of Christians enlisting in the IDF has doubled. According to the forum’s data, 84 Christian soldiers have enlisted since June 2013 alone. In previous years, that would be the amount to draft in an entire year and a half.

Evil ole Israel: the only Arab country where Christians feel safe

Posted by Richard640 @ 22:46 on April 15, 2019

Many Christians try to sell their property and lands before fleeing to Western countries; they usually seek to sell to Jews via mediators, due to the PA deciding on the death penalty for anyone selling land [to a Jew]. These are the “human rights” acceptable in the PA. It is not for nothing that the PA ranks 36th of a list of 50 states religiously repressing Christians according to an organization called Open Doors, a list which includes countries like Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, and Yemen.

While the PA and in fact the entire Middle East are restricting the moves of Christians and harming their freedom of religion, the situation is different in Israel. Alongside the corrupt and violent PA, which is systematically erasing Christians from its territory, the Jewish and democratic state of Israel [allows] a safe life for all religious minorities.

Six Wall Street mega banks have engaged in—and continue to engage in—a crime spree that spans the violation of almost every law and rule imaginable.

by Pam Martens and Russ Martens: April 12, 2019 ~

One day before Democrats on the House Financial Services Committee held an historic grilling of the CEOs of the mega banks on Wall Street, the nonprofit watchdog, Better Markets, released an in-depth research report on “Wall Street’s Six Biggest Bailed-Out Banks: Their RAP Sheets & Their Ongoing Crime Spree.” The report detailed facts, figures and this inescapable conclusion:

“[Six Wall Street mega banks] have engaged in—and continue to engage in—a crime spree that spans the violation of almost every law and rule imaginable. Taking the breadth and depth of their illegal conduct as a whole, the six biggest banks in the country look like criminal enterprises with RAP sheets that would make most career criminals green with envy. That was the case not just before the 2008 crash, but also during and after the crash and their lifesaving bailouts…In fact, the number of cases against the banks has actually increased relative to the pre-crash era.”

The six mega banks profiled in the report are: Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo.

I agree But don’t agree God will forgive? Hell waits for them. It’s a calling for true religious leaders. If they think they can shake people faith of the people like they did the Pope they can get way with that too. I hope they call for a large Mass outside the Church. With security. I don’t think Gods too happy. You loose faith like they did perhaps they lost his protection too.
It is worse with the leaders because they are not only caving to the muslims that get the devil mixed up with Allah by a false profit. truthful jokes aside., because they too are becoming false prophets that were chosen to represent a sovereign God. They don’t speak for the Bible but from the world and now political.

It looks like its not isolated incident !

Anger as France sees 10 Catholic churches attacked in ONE week – ‘God will forgive, NOT ME

A SEVEN day spree of vandalism has seen Catholic churches targeted across France sparking fears of a fresh wave of anti-Christian sentiment in the country, including one church being defiled with human EXCREMENT.

PUBLISHED: 17:31, Wed, Mar 20, 2019 | UPDATED: 19:36, Mon, Apr 15, 2019

At least 10 incidents of vandalism and desecration of Catholic churches have been reported across the Channel since the beginning of February. French Roman-Catholic newspaper La Croix International reported how the attacks on churches took place across France. Senseless acts included the desecration of altars, the defacing of Christ on the cross and in an extreme case, human excrement being spread across the walls of a holy place of worship.

According to the outlet, one of the first attacks was on February 4 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Houilles, Yvelines, where a statue of the Virgin Mary was found smashed on the ground.

The same church also had the altar cross thrown to the ground and the celebrant’s chair was damaged.

On February 5, an altar cloth was found burnt and crosses and statues torn down or disfigured at the recently refurbished Saint-Alain Cathedral in Lavaur, in south-central France.

The fire was found early by a parish secretary and did not spread – but the altar and adjacent walls were badly damaged by smoke.

Following the incident, local district deputy Jean Terlier said in a statement: “I strongly condemn the vandalism of Lavaur Cathedral and I share the outrage aroused by this intolerable act.”

And Lavaur city mayor Bernard Canyon said: “God will forgive. Not me.”

On February 6, just a day after the Saint-Alain Cathedral incident, vandals at Notre-Dame des Enfants (Our Lady of the Children) church in Nimes broke into the tabernacle and scattered altar hosts on the ground.

According to local news reports, the vandals also drew a cross on the wall with human excrement and damaged other religious items in the church

Christian persecution has grown ‘extreme’ in India says expert

Bishop Robert Wattebled of Nimes said of the senseless attack: “This greatly affects our diocesan community.”

“The sign of the cross and the Blessed Sacrament have been the subject of serious injurious actions.”

“This act of profanation hurts us all in our deepest convictions.”

Day later, on February 9, a similar attack occurred at the Church of Notre-Dame de Dijon, Côte-d’Or, about 175 miles south-east of Paris.

The tabernacle was opened and the Eucharist scattered, while the altar cloth was soiled and a sacred missal was torn.

According to La Bien Public, Notre-Dame Father Emmanuel Pic believed the vandals wanted to show anger towards the “heart of the Catholic faith” as nothing of monetary value was stolen.

Father Pic said: “Nothing of value has been broken, but it is the intent that is very shocking. This is what characterizes profanity.”

And on February 10, St Nicolas in Houilles was subjected to another attack six days after the first mindless act of vandalism.

According to the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe, the tabernacle was found thrown on the ground. However, a 35-year-old man later confessed to committing the act to police.

It is unclear if the attacks are related, but police investigations into the wave of attacks are ongoing.

In a statement to Twitter on February 13, Prime Minister Edouard Phillipe voices his outrage at the attacks ahead of a meeting with Catholic bishops from across the country.

Mr Phillipe wrote: “In one week, in France, 5 degraded churches. In our secular Republic, places of worship are respected. Such acts shock me and must be unanimously condemned. I will tell the bishops of France at the meeting of the forum of dialogue with the Catholic Church,” he said.

The fresh wave of attacks come two years a campaign of Christian persecution against Catholic churches across France and Belgium in 2016.

The incidents were said to be carried out by the Islamic State (IS).

One of the most gruesome attacks included the murder of Fr. Jacques Hamel, who was killed by jihadists while holding Mass at a church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray in Normandy.

Lotus-Eaters Love Uber

Uber is another company that lotus-eating investors and the supposedly smart money have got all wrong. Although Wall Street recently lowered its sights by 16%, to $100 billion, for the upcoming IPO, this is still an insane valuation for a business that may never turn a profit. A Wall Street Journal story published last week suggested the dimensions of the problem: Behind Uber’s Slowing Growth: Onslaught of Global Competition Takes a Toll. But the article considered competition only from bonafide companies that are already visible in the ride-hailing field. The real competition will eventually come from every Tom Dick & Harry – i.e., your neighbors, acquaintances and their friends who are looking to make some spare change. All of them will soon be able to buy software that will enable them to create their own ride-hailing micro-companies practically overnight.

This could usher in a brave new world with no unemployment — only massive underemployment

as millions of entrepreneurial drivers try to beat the pants off each other in order to survive. The

ride-hailing concept pioneered by Uber is creative destruction at its most powerful and most

consequential in dollar terms. In pricing the Uber IPO at a tulip-o-mania threshold of $100 billion,

the Masters of the Universe — at least those who lack the good sense to dump their insider shares at

the first opportunity — are headed for a fall.

IRVING FISCHER IN 1929=JAMIE IN 2019=Stock-market rally nears record as Dimon says healthy U.S. economy ‘can go on for 10 years’

Posted by Richard640 @ 13:50 on April 15, 2019

There’s no law that says it has to stop,” Dimon said about U.S. prosperity during a Friday call

Think of it as the Dimon rally. Stocks were posting a healthy jump on Friday that has helped to erase weekly losses for the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq, and brought all of the major U.S. stock benchmarks within shouting distance of all-time peaks.

The rally comes as corporate results from bellwethers of the banking sector produced rosier-than-expected performance figures in the first three months of the year, kicking off an earnings season that has many Wall Street participants bracing for less-than-stellar reports from U.S. companies amid signs of an economic slowdown here and abroad.

However, JPMorgan & Co. JPM, -1.28% Chief Executive Jamie Dimon may have provided at least some added support to market sentiment, if his bank’s results didn’t already, with his comments on Friday about the state of the economy: “There’s no law that says it has to stop,” Dimon said about U.S. prosperity during a Friday call to discuss quarterly results with analysts.

“So you can just easily – it can go on for years,” he said.

Of course, the bank CEO said the unresolved trade dispute between the world’s largest economies — China and the U.S. — could pose a threat, but suggested that the current sanguine phase for the market — in its 10th year of a bull run — could continue for another decade.

Notre-Dame. Very sad, a lot of history from that beautiful cathedral. The Popes caved and this is the result.Instead of tightening security this is what happened either way.
