Loading ...I remember Black-outs,no lights allowed.Black shades required on windows.Car headlights half painted black..Ration stamps needed to buy Coffee,Sugar,Bacon…Air RAIDS with Searchlights looking for planes ..Submarines spotted off the NJ coast where I lived at the time.Even a German Spy had rented a room at a relatives house and was taken away after it was disclosed he was sending short wave messages to Germany..
I was a child during the WAR but have vivid memory s of what was going on.Had two uncles in the war,both survived.
