That’s a real tragedy. Sure hope that’s not he best the Brits can get. The NWO is still pushing back.

Comex gold

Posted by redneckokie1 @ 17:53 on October 18, 2019

Looks like $1440. is next stop. If that doesn’t work then $1380. I will buy all the phiz I can in those areas.

Grain and cotton markets are showing some strength. There are still ample world supplies so I’m not looking for any runaway bull markets unless something really bad happens in South America.

The hog market is surprisingly weak considering pork prices in China are 5 times higher than US markets.

Everyone have a great weekend.

Buygold-Captain–I have always. said. that gold traded in a random and chaotic fashion over the long run

Posted by Richard640 @ 16:56 on October 18, 2019

For short periods of time there seems to be rhyme or. reason…many people. have.  tried to construct–with minimal success– “models” that they think deems gold bullish or bearish…currently. there are some who insist that gold has been in a bull mkt since Jan 2016…my. “switch. theory” embraces golds randomness…gold can be in a severe bear mkt…then, one day–like in late. 2015-16 a. switch is thrown on and gold starts a bullish run…on no news and on no event…

COT’s – Going in the right directions but still pretty lopsided

Maddog, Captain

Posted by Buygold @ 16:22 on October 18, 2019

Maddog – you mean Boris actually has women that like him? It has to be based on his political status right?

Captain – Concur. Funny thing is that gold used to react to the dollar, now it seems to react to rates. I have no idea either how this will all shake out. Higher rates, weaker USD. Weaker USD and rates? Weaker everything USA – no clue my friend.

Posted by Buygold @ 16:15 on October 18, 2019

I’m happy to debate you on this but you’re changing the subject.

I simply stated that since most of those countries have been under siege for the last couple of decades, it’s probably been harder for them to use their creativity in the areas you described, medicine, computers etc. I said nothing about their responsibility regarding the wars.

Buygold–so those countries were all innocent. little angels–just going. about. their business…

Posted by Richard640 @ 16:00 on October 18, 2019

and just. happened to get into 3 or 4 wars with Israel and a few with america….and a few between themselves–like the Iraq-Iran 8 year war–Iraq-Kuwait war…Lebanon–PLO war…??

Posted by Maddog @ 15:56 on October 18, 2019

How can anyone take him seriously? He looks like a slob.

Ask all the women he has left behind…..he treats them all abominably, …..someone who knows the family called him a “total s**t” …..but we all know what floats to the top !!!

Ever heard of this?

Yes in this upside down world if the dollar declines rates will need to rise to bring in demand for it.

I’m not sure how this will end but at some point a collapsing dollar would need to be reflected properly in prices — especially those of hard assets, commodities, and tangibles.

Captain, Maddog, and finally R6

Posted by Buygold @ 14:58 on October 18, 2019

Captain – seems like the USD has been a lot less important to pm’s than rates, especially the 10 year. Agree on the rig though, SM down, USD down, rates down a little. No way the rig allows gold and silver to be “go to” safe havens. Paper markets rule.

Maddog – what you said is pretty much exactly what Farage said. Seems like Johnson is another Globalist hack. Besides, the guy needs a haircut. How can anyone take him seriously? He looks like a slob.

R640 – “Have u. seen any computers–phones–medical equiptment–lifesaving drugs–new surgical techniques-agricultural advances. etc etc from Syria-Iran–Iraq-Lebanon–or other Arab countries lately?

Those countries have been laid to waste by years of war, pretty tough to get the creative genes going when all you can think about is whether you’ll have a home or a meal. Pretty ridiculous statement.

Repo mkt still not right

Re Brexit

It is a lousy deal, pretty much as bad as Mays, in fact it is the same deal rejigged……I hope it fails the vote tomorrow, it will be close.

It is basically Brexit in name only…..not what we voted for at all.

What’s with the dollar?

Posted by Captain Hook @ 13:35 on October 18, 2019

You would think PMs would be doing great.

Good thing the markets aren’t rigged.

Totally agree with both of you; let’s take care of our own country, and protect our borders.

FWIW; equity options expiration today. Don’t know if that’s why we’ll probably be stagnant in the water today.

Back in 2016 the HUI. was 100–like now–lots of H&S tops–in fact many

Posted by Richard640 @ 10:24 on October 18, 2019

false. neckline break outs occured…and on all the blogs the HUI was going to 70…After a 2-3 month correction gold is still hanging around the 1500 area…I wonder if  some more chopping around gold will just. fake out the majority and start its next leg up??

Have u. seen any computers–phones–medical equiptment–lifesaving drugs–new surgical techniques-agricultural advances. etc etc from Syria-Iran–Iraq-Lebanon–or other Arab countries lately?

But. the U.N. and the left wingers in America and round the world keep hating Israel…the Evangelical Christians.  are pro-Israel…like. the good and righteous Pastor John Hagee

Hagee believes in Pentecostal practices such as the “baptism of the Holy Spirit.” He also believes in the “absolute authority of the scripture,” baptism by immersion, and evangelism.[9]

Hagee publicly has stated that he believes the Bible commands Christians to support the State of Israel and the Jewish people.[10][11]

According to an industry announcement last week, the U.S. Army has received its first delivery of the Israeli-made Trophy Active Protection System (APS), which the Army plans to install on many of its M1 Abrams Main Battle Tanks to protect them against incoming rockets and missiles. The shipment represents the latest example of the Department of Defense expeditiously acquiring cutting-edge Israeli technology to address urgent operational threats, thereby buying time for the development of a domestic U.S. capability.

Active protection systems are mounted on armored combat vehicles and detect, track, and destroy incoming rockets and missiles in mid-air before they reach the vehicle itself. Systems such as Trophy accomplish this by launching on-board projectiles to intercept incoming hostile rockets and missiles in-flight.

Trophy has been operational since 2011 and represents one of the most advanced designs currently in use. Today, it can be found on Israel’s Merkava tanks and Namer Infantry Fighting Vehicles. There are approximately 1,000 Trophy systems in active use by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Like the IDF, the U.S. Army has identified the APS as a key capability, launching the “Modular Active Protection Systems” program to develop a common, layered, and networked APS. However, as of last year, this U.S. program was not as mature as Trophy.

Agree with you 100%

Amazing how all these Congress critters and Senators criticize pulling our kids OUT of war. Some sick human beings saying they’re “worried about the homeland”. If you’re worried about the G-Damn homeland, shut down the southern border.

The Demonrats are the biggest hypocrites, they used to be the anti-war party.
