This whole thing reminds me when I coached some kids playing soccer. Half was through the season and still being undefeated a couple of them got it in their head they didn’t need the rest of the team players and could play around them. This of course I could see as a breakdown of the team and annoyed the other players. Ironically they were good players but not the best players on the team but thought they were. I asked them, ” so you can play all by yourselves, you don’t need the team?” They said yeah. This was also during a time of learning teamwork and letting go of the ball to assist in a goal instead of taking chance of losing it when another was open. Teamwork So I said okay then let’s play ” dance “.  They played by themselves and soon learned all they took for granted from the other players ( when they weren’t there.)  their object was winning only and in the end found it was no longer fun but they didn’t win either.

I agree, people have enough unwanted distress in their lives and may want to put this behind them  me included. Think it would if been if he had not persisted and gone on and on about it with mid truths and unlike the other tents can’t delete posts to the contrary. I can understand deleting posts for certain moral reasons that said… Nevertheless I’m pondering getting a refund for the purpose of putting this behind me and that I’d rather see the money go to the needy rather than the greedy, or for a good cause. I would like to see payment go to Wanka to apply to any future tentathons for the Oasis. Not that he needs it but it’s a good cause.

I suspect most folks just want to be left out of squabbles, I get that. I personally am most concerned that the facts of why Oasis was born are understood. We have a great group of posters, I just want it to continue. If need be I will dig into my pocketbook to see that we continue to thrive.

Yes, I believe your ‘fact finding’ has merit, and I agree with Ororeef on reserving one’s rights.   That was the purpose of my public statement… to reserve ‘my’ and ‘our’ rights against possible legal claims.  Allegations need to be promptly refuted and documented.  Lawyers love contemporaneous notes!

I am not in favor of pursuing the other party for damages nor refunds… I would just as soon let the whole matter die a quiet death and move on.  But when threatened with lawyers, as Buygold noted, an active defense wall needs to be thrown up.  Let the lawyers chew on my statement, and yours, and determine if they want to take a case… or laugh in somebody’s face!

I have only been there one time.I was in business then .Some guy tried to sue me for something that didn’t happin.He was unemployed at the time and needed money.He ended up going to jail .! I didn’t ask for that outcome ! His wife did! He never paid Child support ..Be careful what you ask for in court ! you might get more than you bargined for !

When you sign it ,the fine print says you waive your rights ..unless you say and indicate on the ticket “without prejudice” or all rights reserved .This means that if you disagree with the issuence of the ticket ,you can plead your case before the judge!.If you don’t reserve your rights the judge may say “you already pleaded guilty when you signed the ticket” .You may sign it and still reserve your rights.Do not waive your rights,it means you admit guilt .
Nothing wrong with reserving your rights,you may want to explain some extenuating circumstances.

I did not ask for a refund because I reserve all my rights.Donations were solicited under the pretext of joining an advertising free site.Exceptions were made for some friends of management.The check was sent to Fullgold crown,he accepted and cashed it.The US Postal service was used in commission of a fraud. ANSWER: Precisely. This is a function of the warped thinking process employed by Stockman. Lower interest rates and increasing money supply should be inflationary. This is the express direction of the IMF to the ECB. In 1927, they lowered rates in the USA assuming the higher rates were attracting capital inflows. Today, they have reversed this thinking and now assume lower rates will stimulate the economy so USA should raise rates and Europe should lower rates. This will set the stage for a carry-trade, borrow Euro at cheap rates invest in dollars at higher rates and profit also from the decline in the Euro.

The lowering of rates in 1927 had the reverse impact. As the Fed raised rates, it only attracted more capital inflows. We will see the same movement of capital into the USA with rising rates and the real confusion will be rising share prices that will cause the talking heads to begin to talk to themselves.
