Didn’t know what it was until I pulled up your chart. If you were going to buy the DOW or the SSEC what would you buy? SSEC seems like a no brainer to me. Nice call.
As Muslims throughout the United States and around the world celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, Michelle and I extend our warmest wishes to them and their families. This last month has been a time of fasting, reflection, spiritual renewal, and service to the less fortunate. While Eid marks the completion of Ramadan, it also celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity and reinforces the obligations that people of all faiths have to each other, especially those impacted by poverty, conflict, and disease.
In the United States, Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy. That is why we stand with people of all faiths, here at home and around the world, to protect and advance their rights to prosper, and we welcome their commitment to giving back to their communities.
On behalf of the Administration, we wish Muslims in the United States and around the world a blessed and joyous celebration. Eid Mubarak.
I read an analyst/newsletter writer just 2 weeks or so ago (you know)that said something to the effect that there was nothing to like about the ssec chart. Looks like a very good basing chart to me….and has broken out on his words to the contrary.
Your post is good and timely advice. Load up on the PM shares and hang on for the ride. Unfortunately most of the PM investors seem to have been converted to ETF day traders who continue to shoot themselves in the foot, especially with the leveraged ETF’s. Oh, there are a few that still buy the real thing and are hanging in there for this great run up that has been underway for awhile now, but it appears to me that most are still acting like Mexican jumping beans jumping into and out of the ETF skillet. If all the money that goes into ETF’s were put into the actual miner shares we would have been off to the races long ago, but that’s how this game has been rigged and it is still under the full control of the riggers. The thing is that now is the time that the riggers also want the miners to run up to the next top so anybody who is sitting on the sidelines, and there are lots of them, is going to miss the greatest move up in the history of this PM bull to date. I’ve posted several charts that show where we are going, and a few others also see it, but for the most part this sector has been beaten into submission and appear afraid to take the chance. They’ll be the ‘woulda coulda, shoulda’ crowd when this run is all over.
Anyway Saber, hope you stick around for the fun!! silverngold
And here is one for you. The only way Obama would ever hurt Putin is if he was standing in the doorway at an Obama fund raiser. Yep, that sounds about right !
Seems I hear a lot of folks say its hard to find a ‘Real Man’ anymore. Well, here are a couple of ‘Real Men’ just in case you have a hard time finding em these days.
We had a judge here in the U.S. some years back that was trying some sort of Porno case in his courtroom and made a statement along the lines of ” I cant define it (porno) but I know it when I see it.” (grin) Now that is about how I feel toward art in general. I don’t know much about it, but I know what I like. This young lady has an eye for capturing life in action and putting it on canvas. I have already found several that when things get a little better on the financial side I would like to purchase. And her prices seem reasonable.
As far as ‘investing’ in her works I doubt they ever bring any monetary returns worth speaking of, but I figure its hard to put a price on a few minutes of inner peace and beauty these days. Besides, I think I heard someone tell me to diversify my portfolio so that’s that. 🙂
Just for the record, I don’t know the woman (Mary Maxam) or have any financial interests with her. Just thought some of the Oasis gang might enjoy a mental break and appreciate something other than a chart to look at. (grin)
Always a pleasure to see and hear from you. If I remember right your ‘white month’ is about up. I’m thinking of going for two in a row. Kinda feeling better these days after the break. Oh yeah, I have some rhubarb left over from a pie the other day whats your secret for making that rhubarb lemonade. Kinda like to try it.
I agree with your friend, these things take up way too much of our time. I have a few paintings that will help take you away from all this. Ready to do some Basque Dancing? Check out these paintings from an artist up in Idaho. Meet Ms Mary Maxam. I am a new fan of her work.
