Full Moon Frog

Now the way I see it, some women when they like you cook ya a good meal. Some knit you a pair of socks. Some bake pies. A few lately, and this must be the more modern version of women today, will even ask you to dance, or kiss you first. Not saying that I aint all for some of these modern changes. And then there is ole what’s her name with her unique way of saying she likes me by zapping me around the pond like an autumn leaf in a hurricane. I never know what evil she will do next. Where she is going to make a new residence for me. Have to admit, it does keep me on my toes. And I try to keep an overnight suitcase packed at all times.

Why, I’m betting even right now as I type she is looking up at that Big Full Moon and singing a song to me and wanting to make up. Yep, bet she is feeling just a little guilty about the whole lil misunderstanding.

emerged in a positive frame of mind after reading and listening to items from the past few days on King World News. She suggested that it did not look like I would need to make my work jeans last into 2015, and if things came up rosy like Eric King’s guests were suggesting I could go out and buy a pair of Carhartts that would be of better quality than these blue denims. Looks like good times ahead.

The fiat dollar is just about collapsed now, when the value of two old silver dimes buys a gallon of gas it proves the point. The Feds cannot endlessly keep the presses rolling,  It is when one of the major banks collapse that immediate chaos will erupt, the banking system is so corrupt that it will only take one trigger pull to destroy them all as they are so intertwined. How can they possibly control a Quadrillion fiat dollars worth  of derivatives, with  endless issues of more . Are they shooting for Quintillions ?    These are numbers that most people would be able to print out or identify. The PTB are surely not going to warn the masses of a collapse it will happen, and in the computer age overnight, in the morning all fiat dollar items will be worthless. Time will tell….

Many of us have really been trying to predict a noticeable change when the sheeple will know something is seriously wrong. I truly believe that when congress shuts off the Muslim in chief, he will throw us under the bus. The RINO’s have been successful in thwarting some tea party candidates in the primaries, but Obama will not stop until he is stopped by others.

Its generally accepted that republicans will win the senate . If that happens, weak kneed democrats will fold like a cheap accordion to keep the fiat flowing to their districts. Obama will retaliate to show us who is in charge. The last two years of his term will be a total disaster.

if the democrats maintain the senate, probably a slow motion disaster will ensue.

So, you think it will happen soon?

Do you think its’ cause will be the result of a collapsing USD? or something else?

Thing about the US is, we have natural resources and farming capability out the wazoo. If the USD were to collapse suddenly it would get very ugly, but over time we’d be one of the few countries that could survive being isolated.

I actually think the world oligarchs will be much more likely to bring us to war before collapsing the USD. JMHO

The question remains as to when will the SHTF ? When the average big city area resident requires about three pounds of food a day, that means a city area the size of say St. Louis, with about a million or so people require about 1500 tons or at least 75 full truckloads per day. Food outlets today generally have about a three day supply on hand. Therefore if transportation is halted for any reason, the kids are crying for food in ten days for sure. This isn’t the 30’s when poor people were at least civilized, today they will become monsters and no amount of self protection will stop the hoards from taking from those who have nearby and not only food.  I believe that hardly anyone in the Oasis has ever been really hungry or even observed hungry people, so its easy to say “we will feed them somehow.” Not going to happen. TS will HTF suddenly and soon.

Posted by Buygold @ 14:26 on August 10, 2014

I for one think the S just HTF for old Farmboy! Seems his life is about to get a lot worse if AuGirl gets free reign!tom

Seriously though, I think Dutch has a point. When the masses can’t be fed in the good ol US of A because the USD is worthless, then S will definitely HTF.

SHTF

Posted by OldeDutch @ 12:20 on August 10, 2014

The S will HTF when the economy gets so bad that the kids are hungry, as long as Uncle can keep feeding them, no SHTF, when uncle stops, you don’t want to live in or near a big city.

Hmmmmm

Islamic State extremists deliver ultimatum to trapped Yazidis: ‘Convert today – or die’

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:39 on August 10, 2014

Hundreds of terrified families belonging to the besieged Yazidi sect have reportedly been threatened with execution if they refuse to convert to Islam today, according to reports.

Yazidi refugees who are stranded on Mount Sinjar said they have received calls from family members trapped behind enemy lines in villages now controlled by Islamic State jihadis.

They have reportedly been handed a brutal ultimatum: convert to Islam – or die.

The obvious question. What constitutes the SHTF? We have had SHTF all over the place on a daily basis for the last 6 years. I’m curious as to what straw is the one that breaks the camel’s back.

Otherwise, I suspect you’re right. Things don’t go boom, they just go in small bangs over a number of years until the USD finally just fades into obscurity. Lots of wars will be fought in the interim. JMHO, but the USD won’t go quietly into the night.

here’s a happy bunch:)

Did you Know You Could Get Cancer…
Just from Drinking Milk?

For the past 20 years, much of the nation’s milk has come from cows injected with a genetically engineered growth hormone known as rBST.

Write those letters down…

r-B-S-T.

After we’re done here today, you should go to your fridge and look at the milk you have. Make sure your milk is rBST-free.

Again, it’s…

r-B-S-T.

But before you go check, let me explain how dangerous those letters can be…

Farmers inject rBST into cows every two weeks to increase hormonal activity, boosting milk production by as much as 25%.

That’s great for dairy producers, who are able to get more milk from each cow, increasing their profits. It’s also great for the biotech companies that sell the hormone.

There’s only one big problem: this hormone has been linked to various types of cancer.

That probably explains why all 27 countries of the European Union, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada have all banned its use in milk destined for human consumption.

Sadly, the U.S. is the only developed nation that allows rBST.

The Cancer Prevention Coalition has even submitted several petitions to the FDA asking them to ban this hormone.

But the FDA has ignored their requests. Maybe that explains why the U.S. has the highest rates of cancer in the world.

Description

A study done by Susan Hackinson, ScD, of Harvard Medical School, has showed that this hormone increases the risk of developing breast cancer seven-fold in women under 50… and that it increases a man’s risk of developing prostate cancer nine-fold.

Dr. Jenny Pompilio, a physician with Kaiser Permanente in Oregon says: “It’s been known for years that this particular hormone is linked with cancers effects on the endocrine system.”

Now, if you’re like me, you’re probably asking yourself: “how in the hell has the FDA approved this?”

You would think that, after approving it, the FDA would at least slap a label on rBST milk saying something like “warning: could cause cancer.”

But that’s not what happened.

Dairies that use this dangerous hormone don’t even have to disclose that information to consumers.

And the FDA didn’t stop at forbidding GM labeling… It went one step further.

In 1994 they wrote a regulation requiring that any food label describing the product as bovine growth hormone free must also include these words:

“The FDA has determined no significant difference has been shown between milk derived from rBST and non rBST treated cows”

So, the FDA basically restricted dairies that didn’t use the hormone from pointing out that their milk was different from the genetically modified kind.

Maybe you’ve seen this statement on your jug of milk. And since it comes from the FDA, I bet you believed in it… like I did.

But did you know that this rBST statement has never been verified by either Monsanto or FDA studies? If a private company had made such statement, it would be charged with fraud.

And it gets worse… the FDA consistently covered up warnings from its own scientists about the health hazards of GMOs.

The details are buried inside 44,000 pages of FDA’s internal files. I’ll reveal the content of these documents in a moment.

First, it’s important that you understand that the approval of rBST reveals…

One of the Biggest Government Lies:
“The Food We Eat is Safe”

You see, the FDA didn’t perform any kind of testing in regards to rBST. FDA official John Scheid later admitted to the Associated Press that the agency based their approval simply on a summary provided by Monsanto.

Former FDA veterinarian Richard Burroughs, who was a lead reviewer in this hormone’s approval process, said the drug “was approved prematurely without adequate information”… and that “the whole rBST thing was bad science and bad regulation.”

The European Union even investigated the FDA’s faulty approval process and concluded that the hormone’s safety had never been proved.

Canadian scientists also analyzed the FDA’s approval process and wrote a lengthy and scathing report. If you google “Gaps Analysis Report”, you can read it online.

The report recounted omissions, contradictions, weaknesses, and gaps in the FDA’s approval process. It concluded that…

“The required long-term studies to ascertain human safety were NOT conducted. Hence, the risk of sterility, infertility, birth defects, cancer and immunological disorder was not addressed.”

So Wanka, I saw Floridagold’s post about

Posted by Buygold @ 9:31 on August 10, 2014

the China – Russia currency swap, and actually Drudge also carried the story on their site, which I’d think is somewhat significant.

Here’s the problem, the boyz absolutely cannot let gold rise on this news because it would signal a failure of confidence in the USD as reserve currency and dollar hegemony in general.

So what’s it going to take for gold to trade freely?
