Loading ...In November 1967, we got some new transfers just out of boot camp. The ship I was on was a real garbage skow reject. My dogs have never had to live under those conditions. About two weeks after the new guys arrived, one suddenly turned up missing. My division officer said he had an “undesirable” discharge.
I really doubt he was gay, I think he just didn’t want to live under those conditions for a year.
