What Country Just Deployed Troops To Defend Its Oil Fields Located On A Distant Continent?

Tyler Durden’s pictureSubmitted by Tyler Durden on 09/09/2014 18:49 -0400

If this was the 90s, the correct answer with 99.9% certainty, would have been unequivocally the United States. However, perhaps as a testament to how the times have changed, not to mention the geopolitics and the dominant global superpowers, the answer this time is not the US but instead China. And the country where according to the WSJ, China has deployed some 700 soldiers as part of a United Nations “peacekeeping” force, is South Sudan where the Chinese troops will help guard the country’s embattled oil fields and protect Chinese workers and installations, a spokesman for the African nation’s president said Tuesday.

More on this page straight out of the CIA’s playbook:

The airlift of the Chinese infantry battalion to the South Sudanese states of Unity and Upper Nile, the site of the only operating oil fields still under control of the central government in Juba, was expected to take several days, spokesman Ateny Wek Ateny said.

While Beijing’s troops will operate under U.N. command, their posting to South Sudan marks a sharp escalation of China’s efforts to ensure the safety of its workers and assets in Africa, and guarantee a steady flow of energy for domestic consumption.

The deployment marks the first time Beijing has contributed a battalion to a U.N. peacekeeping force, U.N. officials said. In March 2013, China sent some 300 peacekeepers to Mali to protect Chinese engineers building a U.N. camp in the town of Gao

to have the truth come to you and to have you recognize are two different things

We all  know truth is the very rarest commodity TODAY…you know and i know …in this world….. the most difficult  THING to find. Here , i, believe are  a few collected and sharing in their own  pathways..this my opinion. Very well done.

In regards to trading and winning in the  marketplace ..this is not the old world of goldrunner and so many others ghosts..it is called ..they were sheep..they believed in a honest pathway….I am certain they now know this is not longer  or was even then true…until it changes..

Once again ..this is my shared insight..wishing all well.

the most silver weight for the money. yes eagles and maples carry a premium bid/offer price structure but rounds which are also a 999 pure silver as the eagles and maples carry a far less premium ergo for the purchase one begats more ounces of car parts then you would buying eagles or maples. its a strategy for higher accumulation of the real stuff that rings with a fine tune when flipped off the thumb.

of course real low premium would be in silver 100oz bars of standard hallmark but even then the premium differs somewhat based on the hallmark.

i for one always like the lowest premium on recognizable rounds or bars and feel that is good money management. just a business sense look at the best method of most metal weight accumulation for the dollars transacted.

so now we get a chance to cross swords yet again

if you have a long horizon what difference does it make if you pay $19 or even $15

ps: and l forgot

Posted by WANKA @ 22:18 on September 9, 2014

to say that the rounds priced at 1 dollar was for extremely small orders but over 100 reduces premium to 70cents. effectively a 70cents spread on bid/offer since the buyback is spot price in this time frame.

i had bought a special they were running at 29cents over spot with a max of 200 rounds per account. you can pay by mailing a check or making a deposit to thier account at any wells fargo bank. very simple transactions.

i don’t know how this applies to canada though. wj

allow me.

Winedoc needs to look into his own realm of buying bullion and trust. I would suggest there are honorable people there. Price? It is a small market. Honest people making a living.

There are many venues…one stands and honors ..above the common.  He needs to look and discover on this message.  I will not further comment. There is new humm provider of real market to bullion.

In the past ..there were few choices….today there are others..if Windoc is buying bullion. Just car parts..

In regards to American eagles and maples.. Wanka ..you should know that the market will pay more..now and in the future even more. It is a recognized bullion coin..in a very knowledgeable market place. Rounds are rounds than this is there are buffaloes and maples..pure and grade .9999 ..silver eagles and maples ..you are knowledgeable my friend..that is and will always be the best purchase..regardless the premium..

You know the drill..my friend..

Wishing all well..

Just a point..if you stand  in North American hold  real North American bullion..trust me on this.. the point will be well served later. I am certain Winedoc understands buying pure ..

The charts..well i have shared tonight,,best wishes to all,  oh I can not leave with out sharing..charts are sheep feed ..feed to sheep..it is the feeder..you need to think long term……………………………………………

winedoc…and pgr 245…why maples and not just rounds

Posted by WANKA @ 21:30 on September 9, 2014

much less premium on generic rounds i would think. i did some generic a couple of weekends ago at 29cents over spot 19.50 at the time. normal pricing is about a dollar over spot for premium. at 1 dollar premium this would compare to 22 canadian current x 1.096

using the above as example since there are many generic strike rounds out there in silverland. although you do have a premium on the bid for maples i would think but i’m sure the bid/offer spread is still far wider then a dollar.

what are the rounds pricing in canada in comparison? inquiring minds and all that?  best of cheers wj

winedoc @ 20:12 re silver premiums

Posted by pgr2.45 @ 20:54 on September 9, 2014

I’ve often wondered about such high premiums myself.

Most consistent best value I’ve been able to find is bordergold.com in BC.

Tonight one ounce maple is C$23.98 plus shipping & ins.

For gold coins, my local RBC price is comparable to bordergold, and I don’t have to pay shipping, but last time I checked their silver price was much higher than bordergold.

Posted by Buygold @ 20:26 on September 9, 2014

Despite the nice close, silver continues its’ record down open in the access market, now down 92 of the last 96 access openings. It just never ends – EVER.

Just normal market action. Unbelievable.

Canadian Premiums on 1 Oz Silver Maples

Posted by winedoc @ 20:12 on September 9, 2014

Kitco  $24.20  CDN

ScotiaBank $ 25.82 CDN

Then there is shipping and insurance

Anyone know why such a premium/difference.

I’m prone to using Scotia for small purchases,  direct from bank account and presto !!  Kitco requires a wire transfer/certified cheque which is a pain.

Take a lesson from the American Indian including diseases illegal immigrants of then brought. That people think they have a right to move where ever they want, and if so ” there is no nation.” If you don’t fight for what’s yours someone less worthy will take it.
