I don’t know if you have ever eaten maize – but modern corn (either GMO or non-GMO) tastes much better. Just to pick an example. What took generations – moving from maize to pre-GMO corn can now be done in the laboratory with some genetic modifications.
I agree about research – it can be suspect. But what do we have to base a decision on? And the research is from around the world. It may be that in the future some better plan to try to keep up with feeding the world will arise. I hope so because we know any action is not risk free – even choosing to only eat non-GMO. All one can do is gauge the risk.
