Elizabeth had Public bath houses below ground on Elizabeth Ave in Elizabeth as many houses didn’t have bath tubs or showers.
I remember the EMPIRE Burlesque in Newark and Minskys Burlesque ..as teenagers we visited what was the last vestages of vaudeville and I remember seeing Bert Lahr (comic)and Gypsy Rose Lee perform ….hehe
