Loading ...Lot of things are a mystery to me in the Bible. And looking into the eyes of some woman and keeping a straight face while I told her, ” I love you Bathsheba…” is one of them. I can do, ” I love you Mary. I love you Sally Lou, but Bathsheba…..I just don’t think I could do it without laughing. Maybe….” I love you Hotub Baraba Jean. But never Bath sheba. just couldn’t keep a straight face to save my life. Course now, that might depend on what she could do with a sponge and bar of soap. ?? And if I read the scripture right ( I wouldn’t count on it), I think that is what got King David in trouble in the first place. He was out one evening and noticed her bathing. Hmmm….reckon I best stick to my lilly pad. 🙂
