@ Maya…The information is appreciated….however, I’m fine with both Young Living and doTerra if I require one of the blends. On rare occasions I buy an oil from an unknown company and give it a try but for the most part, I purchase essential oils from the company that supplies YL and DT – Liberty Natural – and I either use them as a single or blend my own, depending on my needs. Young Living has the better of the respiratory fighters that it has named “Thieves.” DoTerra copied four of the five EOs and substituted Orange for the original Lemon and calls it On Guard…but it cannot compare to Thieves because Lemon assists the respiratory system and Orange does not. Actually, Lemon doesn’t just assist the respiratory system, it is great for the respiratory system. I diffuse Lemon EO whenever I’m sitting at the computer. As long as you are satisfied with the results of the EOs you purchase, then everything is good.
@ Ipso…I’m not much of a follower so am not concerned as to what Dr. Mercola thinks about the various yogurts on the market. Making yogurt is not difficult and when it is homemade it is free from ANY and ALL unnatural ingredients because there is no need to worry about shelf life. But I did like his superfoods article and thank you for it.

“One of the reasons” for high wood pricing in Nova Scotia ……. wood cutters previously could cut on Gov’y Land (for a small fee/lease arrangement) or on Private land. Gov’y has “arranged” that Crown land wood cutting would go all to the local pulp and paper mills (sweet little deal) , putting a squeeze on private woodlot owners and prices of course rose this year for Joe Six Pack.

He didn’t stack it this year….because of “inflation”. That was an “extra” service. My brother in law orders a cord every year on craigslist in CA and his guy tells him he poaches the wood here and there. Ha.

Its a late start, hopefully not too little too late. Read it yourselves. We dropped our tariffs starting gradually 50 years ago. But our exports were still tariffed. To create higher living standards developing nations. Now its the worlds turn to drop tariffs on us.
The USA. “If I show you mine, will you show me yours afterward?”
Trans-Pacific Partnership: Summary of U.S. Objectives
part:
With the elimination of TPP countries’ tariffs on manufactured products, including innovative and high technology products, such as industrial and electrical machinery, precision and scientific instruments, and chemicals and plastics, U.S. products will compete on a more level playing field with goods from TPP countries’ other free trade agreement (FTA) partners – including China, India, and the EU.
As just one example, certain U.S. auto parts currently face a 27-percent tariff entering Vietnam. Other countries that have an FTA with Vietnam, such as China, Thailand, and Indonesia, export their auto parts to Vietnam duty free. By eliminating duties U.S. auto parts companies face, TPP would help boost their competitiveness in the Vietnamese market.

Part: “ENVIRONMENT
Environmental stewardship is a core value and advancing environmental protection and conservation efforts across the Asia-Pacific region is a key priority for the United States in TPP. In addition to core environment obligations, we are seeking trailblazing, first-ever conservation proposals to address some of the region’s most urgent environmental challenges.

Region’s most urgent environmental challenges.
Ya know what THAT mans?? CHINA industries are gunna get muzzled real good, and force businesses to move to a more friendly place, hopefully the USA.
Some people have no soul.
are health nuts to begin with
Re your post re trash the environment. Is very good for prosperity. Cleaning the environment started stared decades ago that gradually killed the working man prosperity and raised taxes, bigger budget deficits etc that resulted in the messes of today.
Lots of coal states and counties peoples and businesses are hurting these days, for what?? Global warming baloney? Check engine lights and speed cameras are robbing us too.
We can only put 7 rounds in a 10 round clip??? Shows how the stupid and emotional the leaders of the past were.
The more I read about soy the more I don’t like even though I liked soy. Even if fermented do you have to watch out for MSG a neurotoxin.
of ebola-falling stocks etc–and gold is just comatose–nether bull nor bear is gonna make any coin for now-gold is a perennial disappointment
I bought 10K shares of century aluminum for $2 a share–and took a buck profit on it banck in 2008-9–now its 12 bucks…600%…better’n gold…[grumble! grouse! etc]

And useless as well. France’s prolonged economic death rattle has been made possible by running annual deficits larger by half than the 3% “allowed” by Brussels. And now, channeling de Gaulle for what could turn out to be France’s last hurrah, the French have flouted Merckel’s authority, and common sense itself, by proposing to remedy the problem by hiring more government workers and expanding tax breaks. Portugal, Greece, Spain and the other deadbeat rabble have been cheering them on, and why not? They think they have nothing to lose — that Germany is the only country with any skin in the game. Their folly is about to be laid bare, however, unless Germany gives in and allows Europe’s Central Bank to monetize the collective debts of Europe Fed-style.
Rick Ackerman writes=
News of Europe’s economic problems has seemed to ebb and flow with interest rate fluctuations in sovereign debt. However, even the unschooled observer can see not only that nothing has changed fundamentally, but that economic conditions have steadily worsened. This is notwithstanding the rally in bond prices, particularly Spain’s, on the flimsy pretext that Europe’s supposed recovery was gaining traction.
Only in a financial world ruled by desperation, and by yield-seekers delusionally oblivious to risk, could an economic basket case like Spain have returned to the debt market with a straight face.
France’s money problems are of course orders of magnitude larger than Spain’s, and hubris alone will not pay the mounting social costs of a nation that has promised far more benefits and job security than it can afford. The statist dream that has galvanized Europe’s elites will die hardest in France, whose claim to great-power status in Europe has grown increasingly hollow over the last 40 years. A showdown between Germany and France looms, and the economic implosion it will set in motion promises to be worse than the ravages of the Second World War. Unfortunately, there is no other way to wrest Europe’s fortunes from the asphyxiating grip of folly, hubris and false promises.
Why Avoid Soy??
THE SILVER LINING OF SOY
Soy’s beneficial properties are only available when a specific mold is grown on the beans in a process called fermentation. Fermentation not only makes nutrients bio-available, it also destroys the toxins present in the beans. Fermented soy products include tempeh, miso, and natto.
BUT WHAT ABOUT TOFU??
the enzyme inhibitors concentrate in the soaking liquid rather than in the curd. thus, in tofu growth depressants are reduced in quantity but not completely eliminated.’by Joy in BEVERAGES, CLEANSE, HEALTHY EATING
PUT DOWN THAT SOY LATTE DOWN and READ THIS…
I hate to rain on anyone’s parade when it comes to dietary changes they are proud of, but I feel compelled to debunk the myth that soy is a healthy choice. If you are consuming processed soy products including SOY MILK and you think you are doing yourself a favor, please review the major problems with consuming soy and so you can make an educated decision…
.TOP TEN REASONS TO AVOID SOY
Soybeans contain large quantities of natural toxins or “antinutrients”. First among them are potent enzyme inhibitors that block the action of trypsin and other enzymes needed for protein digestion.
These inhibitors are not deactivated during cooking & processing. Test animals fed these inhibitors developed enlargement and pathological conditions of the pancreas, including cancer.
Soybeans also contain haemagglutinin, a clot-promoting substance that causes red blood cells to clump together.
99% of soy is genetically modified and it among the highest contamination by pesticides of any of our foods.
Soybeans are high in phytic acid, a substance that blocks the uptake of the essential minerals calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and especially zinc, in the intestinal tract.
Soy products contain high levels of aluminum, leached from the aluminum tanks in which they are acid washed and processed at high temperatures.
Nitrites, which are potent carcinogens, are formed during the spray-drying of soy.
Soy Protein Isolates, which are shown to enlarge the pancreas and thyroid and increase fatty acid deposits in the liver.
Soy contains toxic isoflavones.
Soy foods have a high concentration of goitrogens which block production of thyroid hormones.
