In the cancer series just presented, one segment interviewed G Edward Griffin in which he said the bitter taste in plants was called Amigdalin (sp), which is a great cancer fighter. Whether that is the bitter taste in your melons/gourds I couldn’t say but it sounds like a good probability/possibility. Silverngold
