The article you mentioned is interesting, however I do not see any reference to vit A in the article,
and as a matter of interest I have read quite awhile ago that excessive consumption of vit A contributed to increase in lung cancer, I think that was about 20 years ago.
While on the subject of nutrition and vitamin supplements I came across an excellent website that appear to have scientific approach to use of Vitamins and minerals in combating some of the diseases,
unfortunately nothing on COPD directly.
