I was a dog woman most of my life (preferring Basset hounds) until six pussycats came out of the woods one day, adopted me, and now I’m a cat woman. Their intelligence is exceptional, especially those with Siamese blood, such as my Mr. Puppy…so named because I had been on my way to Basset Rescue when the kitties showed up and I knew I wouldn’t be getting a doggie.
