Not sure who the statins are for but they are bad news. Seen what they did to my Mom before she died. Muscle weakness all the time. Cholesterol generally not a bad thing. Need to cut back on junk foods and gmos. Eat organic when possible. Try to eat grass fed meats and stay far away from other hormonal/antibiotic/ ractopine laden meats you buy in the supermarkets. if you can’t get grass fed, and they are expensivo big time, buy the meats marked no hormones or antibiotics used.
Wanka. If the Cordycep shroom extract works, move up to a better brand name. You get what you pay for. That Asian Energy blend sounds pricey but effective.BTW, Russia and Ukraine back at it big time. That’ll throw a bit of tension into the gold shorts hopefully.

Keep this is mind when you do try it and then go exercise and make sure the statins aren’t akready causing fatigue I personally don’t trust statins.
The low-fat diet and the exercise regime will both increase the likelihood that the statin drug will cause problems. Vigorous exercise increases the energy needs of the muscles, while the low-fat diet reduces even further the bioavailability of fatty acids to replace damaged cell walls. cell walls composed of unsaturated fats are more vulnerable to attack by the Ferryl myoglobin than those composed of saturated fats.

Also… for the neuropathy… take vitamin B-12 as the METHYL Cobalamin -type. {Not the cheap “Cyano” Cobalamin} Costco has it. It comes as a sublingual tablet you hold under your tongue to absorb. Swallowing it is worthless as it is destroyed by digestion before being absorbed.
This stuff will heal nerves if possible, or prevent further damage. I have seen it cure Bells Palsy, facial paralysis.

I have not yet begun, so I cannot say how much. The pill dosages are in the area of 200-300 mg of extract, which is supposed to be equivalent to 800 mg of the whole body. I intend to start low & slow and see how I feel.

I’m of the opinion that it’s far easier to make money shorting gold stocks than it ever will to be long. this is why so many people gang up on us. at some point in time we just have to recognize that this is just a trade, not a religion. in the end we just need to make sure to trade this monkey and try to make money. that’s not to suggest I’m a perma bear, it’s just that I recognize how many times these people have make mincemeat of me

Being a member of Life Extension Foundation at lef.org that is where I went to look for more info and order. This is what I ordered:
http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/item01805/Asian-Energy-Boost?q=cordyceps
The cordyceps is paired with fermented ginseng here, which is the Asian Energy tonic ingredients. I anticipate some adjustment to get used to being this “UP” as my limited experience with cordyceps was a real eye opener! Be ready to do some exercises, Wanka! I plan to go walking… I need to lose some weight. Snowshovelling works, too! (But you wouldn’t know about that.) 🙂
I know how the meds foul up your body. My experience with blood pressure meds was a failure due to my feets bad circulation, too. One major concern for you Wanka is that you get enough CoQ-10 supplement to keep your heart strong for the circulatory system. CoQ-10 is the enzyme ‘spark plug’ that fires muscle cells, and it is concentrated heavily in the heart muscle. Statin drugs to lower cholesterol are known to deplete CoQ-10 and eventually leads to heart failure.
I take Qunol 100mg available from Costco.

Expect the Cartel to set up a PM Classic raid on next week’s options expiry and the FOMC nonsense.

Wanka – your guy seems to have “all hands on deck” – hope he’s right
samb – I think you have it pretty much figured out. There’s nothing about recent action that makes me think we’re going higher anytime soon unless there is some sort of unknown shock. This looks a lot like last year so far.

Thanks for that info. Definitely bears some further investigation. Some time back I drank a Trial pak of Cordyceps w/cocoa. I’m normally a coffee drinker in the mornings and can handle the caffeine, but the cordyceps cocoa was a stimulating energy rush that was far more… and different… than coffee. I had to go out and jog a bit to come down from that stimulus. Very powerful stuff!
I need to investigate (Read: experiment on self) this stuff further.

As you know, there are two schools of thought regarding $Golds near term future. 1, The bears that predict a smash that will result into a final capitulation and a restart thereafter of the great gold bull/reset.
2) The bull camp that believes that the multi year lows for $gold are already baked into the cake. Any swing low will then not result in a lower USD low for gold.
I’m in both with auto parts and miners. However, I can’t tell you or me or anyone else which of these two camps will be correct. I ride with the bulls on this but, that is from a fundamental view rather then a technical view.
We know that every gold overbought eventually ends and every oversold also eventually ends. Those are the swings that are evident even on a one year chart. And those are the same swings that I play with either some puts or calls. Right now I am waiting for this top to culminate…it will.

If these things are to believed and they do tend to work on the downside. PM’s are going to get slammed as the specs will puke their long positions at the first sight of a correction like they always do.
The shares seem to be saying so.
Maybe samb has it right about buying puts.
Frustrating. The Cartel never goes away.

Anytime congress wants to use public opinion against the Pres they can call for a Special Guest to address a Joint session of Congress !
The pressure might be too much for Him and he will cave ! Turn Public Opinion against him !
It would be a Great POLITICAL TOOL to use against him ,He cant stop it ! A Foreign Leader,an EX President ? , A Business Leader
Paul Volker ,David Stockman ,Ron Paul ? It would be something The President couldent do anything about !
