Few years ago they started hiring a lot of minorities driving out the more experienced workers that found it impossible to work with them as they weren’t qualified or didn’t trust what they were doing. Since then you have workers not qualified and guessing workers who stayed theough it overwhelmed with cases. I’d start by asking them who said he was dead where and when. To these unqualified they just see it say oh says your dead and that’s it. The problem is now that he brought it to their attention or maybe even not they could come along later and say he owes them so he should keep a record including in paper what going on.

“I looked him in the eye and said, ‘I don’t have any income,’ ” said Ms. Payne.

Needless to say, Santander Consumer USA is a pure artifact of financial engineering deeply subsidized and coddled by the Fed. As a former LBO and now IPO, it is overwhelmingly funded with securitized auto paper. That is, it is able to fund BMW loans to mom’s on food stamps because it can bury them in massive baskets of loans that are then sliced and diced by Wall Street, and sold to investors desperate for “yield”.”

The Union Pacific had a penchant for experimental, high power locomotives.
This is the GE GTEL, turbine electric rated at 10,000hp… the worlds most powerful single locomotive. They used these for getting loads over the mountains of Wyoming near their base of operations. While the locomotive worked OK, it was so damn loud that none dared send it through an urban area. It sounded like a jet airliner at takeoff. So the GTELs were relegated to wilderness mountain areas to deliver trains before the locomotive was abandoned.
