Either they were trying to save energy or money, or the environment or who the hell knows WHY they had to make the third rail differently than the 150 year past. With the leading edge bevel on the TOP instead of putting the beveled angle on the bottom, that lifted the rail UPWARDS instead of DOWN.

After some research, looking at drawings, I see electric contact UNDER the rail rather than the TOP of the rail. Top of rail is now covered insulated, for safety I guess. It looks like a safety measure to prevent a drunk person from pissing on the third rail and getting electrocuted. There was a $1.5 mill law suit re that.

And since none of us victims of the press own a press, I think 1st amendment, “Freedom Of The Press” should be removed from the constitution because they step on the Second Amendment part of the constitution all the time, and literally ruined the mental state of the people that live in this country.

Regarding the train wreck? I heard they had a “new fangled” type high voltage third rail that got airborne and flew thru into the train cars.

I think Liposomal vitamin C is the current most effective form, and you can make it yourself if you want to be sure what you are ingesting. I’m still big on Colloidal Silver too. (smile)

Most of what I post seems to be things nobody wants to hear, and neither do I, but that does not mean they should not hear these things since they are mostly IMO the reality of today’s world and what they want our future to be. I know this is a precious metals site but if their agendas are allowed to play out, very few of us will be around to enjoy our foresight to be prepared. If some of these things bring terror to others that is not my intention, but it seems to be what is coming and best everyone know what might be shaping up and take the necessary steps to survive it. If America EVER loses its right to own and bear arms it is game over, and that is NOT IMO, that is a FACT!!

Just on the off chance that you haven’t checked it … my puter is set to delete passwords and temp internet files every time I shut it down. Is yours?

I shut my puter down every night and re-login every day. It just doesn’t seem like that big a chore. It takes about 10 seconds or so, so I really don’t mind.
