It’s not just Colorado rails that I did. This was taken from the summit of Mt. Sneffels in August 1978. That stake on the right with the tattered flag is the summit marker. This view is looking south into Yankee Boy Basin… and the San Juan peaks go on and on to the south. Telluride is just over that wall of rock on the right side. Bonus points if you can spot the road/trail that goes over that ridge to Telluride. This was my 14,000 ft + mountain climbing expedition.
