If we worked for GS, we’d probably do it too.

Thanks for putting that up. Good presentation and informative advice. All types of measures presented with varying degrees of sophistication and all free to boot.
Anyone who has these FYI
Looks like Amalco might be merging shares into AuRico.
Under the Arrangement, each AuRico Shareholder (other than an AuRico Shareholder who has validly exercised its dissent rights) will ultimately receive, upon compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in the plan of arrangement (the “ Plan of Arrangement ”) attached as Appendix E to the Circular and subject to adjustment as set forth therein, in consideration for each of such AuRico Shareholder’s AuRico Shares (including any AuRico Shares issued in connection with the exchange of AuRico options and the settlement of performance share units, deferred share units or restricted share units) 0.5046 of a Class A Common Share of Amalco (“ Class A Shares ”) and thereafter 95.1% of the AuRico Metals Shares will be distributed to all the holders of Class A Shares on a pro rata basis to their ownership of Class A Shares (which, subject to certain assumptions and subject to adjustment as set forth in the Plan of Arrangement, is expected to result in a holder of Class A Shares receiving approximately 0.4398 AuRico Metals Shares for each Class A Share held). Amalco will retain the remaining 4.9% of AuRico Metals Shares, as described in the Circular.
You’re a criminal in a mass surveillance state – how to not get caught
Sometimes you just get lucky.
I was in Amsterdam when the Snowden story broke. CNN was non-stop asking politicians and pundits, “Is Edward Snowden a traitor?” Those who said he betrayed America also said something else: Mass surveillance is only an issue if you’re a criminal. If you’ve got nothing to hide then you’ve got nothing to fear.
The Snowden story hit me upon my return from – of all places on earth – the Secret Annex of the Anne Frank House. The Secret Annex is where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazis for two years. It was during this period of hiding in terror that Anne wrote her world-famous diary. In it she confided, “I want to be useful or bring enjoyment to all people, even those I’ve never met.” Read more

Interview 1048 – Michel Chossudovsky on Global Warfare in the New World Order
Cyberwar. Economic war. Covert war. Theatre war. Proxy war. Nuclear war. Today we talk to Michel Chossudovsky about the development of the global multi-front long war against humanity in the emerging New World Order and the propagandists who make it possible.
Is Karl Marx vindicated? “The last capitalist we hang shall be the one who sold us the rope.”
Karl Marx exposed the peculiar dynamics of capitalism, or what he called “the bourgeois mode of production.” He foresaw that capitalism had built within it the seeds of its own destruction. He knew that reigning ideologies—think neoliberalism—were created to serve the interests of the elites and in particular the economic elites, since “the class which has the means of material production at its disposal, has control at the same time over the means of mental production” and “the ruling ideas are nothing more than the ideal expression of the dominant material relationships … the relationships which make one class the ruling one.” He saw that there would come a day when capitalism would exhaust its potential and collapse. He did not know when that day would come. Marx, as Meghnad Desai wrote, was “an astronomer of history, not an astrologer.” Marx was keenly aware of capitalism’s ability to innovate and adapt. But he also knew that capitalist expansion was not eternally sustainable. And as we witness the denouement of capitalism and the disintegration of globalism, Karl Marx is vindicated as capitalism’s most prescient and important critic. read more

I’m content to be patient for now. Yep something is coming and probably not a good thing.
Are goldbugz mostly pessimists?
Mad Mike, Ipso
.Yeah, I think there might be a slow awakening among the younger generation, so that gives me reason for hope. No doubt there will have to be massive pain first but I really try to emphasize to them to understand the monetary system and Fed etc. Because if they can do that then most of the pieces of the puzzle will fall into place IMHO.
So I see the USD is down again. Down 2.5% in the last two days and gold has gone nowhere.
Rates are on the rise which makes no sense, it seems the USD should be strong in a rising rate environment.
Something bad is coming despite the SM going ballistic.
@ Scruffy – RE: Texas Depository
This is good news that this is still going forward.
USAA has a huge (almost one square mile) complex in Texas. I thought it would be a natural for them to vault for their members.
Some years back, I tried to get them interested, but they couldn’t be bothered.

Natural News: Certain medical interventions found to cause people to commit homicide
We’ve long suspected this link, and now it’s been established in a scientific study: Certain drugs can transform ordinary people into murderers.
The increased risk of committing homicide while taking doctor-ordered drugs ranges from 31% (for SSRIs) to 200% (for anti-inflammatories).
Does this help explain all the school shootings that have been linked to SSRI drugs?

ADP Employment Bounces, Still Weaker Than All Of 2014, 3rd Monthly Decline In Manufacturing Jobs
Tyler Durden’s pictureSubmitted by Tyler Durden on 06/03/2015 08:21 -0400
Having fallen for 5 straight months (and missed expectations for the last 4), much to the ‘recovery meme’ chagrin of Mark Zandi and his fellow extrapolators, May’s 201k print (against expectations of 200k) was a modest bounce that will be seen as heralding the post-weather recovery. At 201k, ADP job change remains below every month of 2014 aside from January. Led by small business – which gained 122k of the 201k jobs, we note that large firms 500-999 employees actually saw jobs being shed. Furthermore, Service-providing jobs dominated with 192 of 201k jobs coming from that segment of the economy and just 9k growth in goods producing with manufacturing dropping 5k. Zandi’s helpful remarks provide the narrative, “I think the economy is doing much better than the data shows and when it is all revised will show strong growth.” Brilliant.

That’s great my friend! Your kids are more aware than the great majority of the population. I think there are other younger people who “get it” too, as shown by the popularity of Ron Paul with the younger set. There ARE reasons for hope out there.
Cheers
