Yeah, the Cereus grow wild..and prolific.. from the volcanic rock on the cliff sides of Manoa valley and Punchbowl crater… areas in the hills near Punahou school. I used to jog around Punchbowl crater and see lots of plants hanging from the hillsides. Lots of limp blooms hanging in the midday when I was out jogging. I probably would have sneezed my way through it if I tried at night when they were fully open!
