As for the hedgies, who knows? I don’t trust any numbers from the CFTC, I can’t remember a time when the commercials were at such a low “net short” position.
We’re either going to have a reversal that defies all belief or we are headed toward $600. One thing though, this action in the SM looks a lot like 2000-01. No idea if that means anything.
I’ve pretty much given up on the shares. More than brutal. Glad to hear you didn’t have everything invested in them.
