The scientists were right — your cell phone can give you cancer.

There have long been whispers of a cancer connection from your cell — and a new study backs up the claims.

“These data are a clear sign of the real risks this kind of radiation poses for human health,” study author Igor Yakymenko said.

Yakymenko’s meta-study — basically a study of hundreds of other studies — reveals many findings of previous researchers into how radiofrequency from your phone can damage DNA.

That damage can add up over time and cause a variety of health problems, like cancer, headaches, fatigue and even skin problems.

For example, using your phone for just 20 minutes a day for five years increased the risk of one type of brain tumor threefold, and using the phone an hour a day for four years upped the risk of some tumors three to five times, Yakymenko said.

But even though the risk of brain and related cancers is low — in 2012, there were 6.4 cases per 100,000 U.S. adults — Yakymenko says we should be on alert because ailments can take up to 30 years to develop.

“(Our) data were obtained on adults who used cell phones mostly up to 10 years as adults,” he said. “The situation can dramatically differ for children who use cells phone in childhood, when their biology much more sensitive to hazardous factors, and will use it over the life.”

To minimize your risk, use your phone less and go hands-free to keep the frequency away from your head, Yakymenko said.

The Illinois cockroach that represents illegal aliens in manipulating their way into the United States doesn’t like the fact that he was exposed, quoted and videotaped calling the death of Kate Steinle a “little thing.” He also doesn’t like the fact that his years of working to subvert and circumvent American immigration law have now clearly resulted in a lot of heat coming his way after the fruit of his labors resulted in the murder of Kate Steinle.

Luis “the Roach” Gutierrez (D-IL) made a couple of preemptive and more moderate than usual statements in earlier House hearings and he thinks that reading those transcripts in Tuesday’s Judiciary Committee hearings will somehow negate his career of subterfuge and his years of working to import Latino foreigners in direct violation of U.S. immigration law.

From 1984-86 Gutierrez, a Democrat, served as an advisor to Mayor Harold Washington of Chicago. In 1986 Gutierrez was elected alderman of that city’s mostly-Hispanic 26th Ward. At the time, he was a member of the Puerto Rican Socialist Party, a Marxist-Leninist entity.

At the same event, illegal immigrants shouted the slogan “¡Sí se puede!”–Spanish for “Yes, it can be done!” or “Yes, you can do it!”

Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta, creators of the “¡Sí se puede!” slogan, were students of Saul Alinsky’s brand of community organizing, as were Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton.

“Yes, We Can!” originates from “¡Sí se puede!,” which is a communist revolutionary slogan.

John Kerry’s a busy guy, fighting an imaginary war on climate change while simultaneously creating the prospects for an apocalyptic real one with Iran. It’s easy to see how maybe the most obvious things could slip his pre-occupied pro-Iranian mind. At a minimum we can understand how he might prefer to not have certain details mentioned, specifically those related to a blatant conflict of interest which would have forced anyone with an ounce of integrity to recuse themselves from the Iran negotiations at the outset.

John Kerry, who accused his fellow Vietnam veterans of barbarism equal of Genghis Kahn, proved long ago he is unencumbered by either integrity or patriotism. He is a man perfectly suited for the position of Secretary of State in the Obama regime.

Some quite revealing information was published on Tuesday in an article on Lt Col Allen West’s website, detailing information of connections between the Kerry family and Mohammad Javad Zarif, the current Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Zarif represented Iran as Kerry’s opponent in the farcical giveaway that was mislabeled as nuclear negotiations. John Kerry knows Zarif well, having first met more than ten years ago at a dinner party hosted by George Soros in his Manhattan penthouse. The connections get more intimate though, with the most startling revelation being that Zarif’s son was reportedly the best man at the 2009 wedding of Kerry’s daughter Vanessa. Dr Vanessa Bradford Kerry, Kerry’s younger daughter from his first marriage, is married to a first generation Iranian-American, Dr. Brian (Behrooz) Vala Nahed.

Given the Valerie Jarrett connection to Iran and the Kerry relationships, as well as the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamic interests’ infiltration of the White House and our intelligence agencies, it is troubling that this was not seen as sufficient grounds for recusal by Secretary Kerry. It’s even more concerning given the obvious Islamic sympathies displayed by the occupant of the White House.

The motivations for the secretive nature, huge giveaways and lack of verification in the Iran deal now begin to come more sharply into focus for anyone who might have had the misconception that John Kerry works for America.

Kerry’s a part of the anti-America Obama regime and he clearly still views the United States as he did in the sixties, as the enemy. His subversive actions prove it beyond any reasonable doubt.

I think the main problem is the Dollar is too high. All commodities are priced in dollars. They mover the dollar net lower after 2001, to stop the last 20 year deflation 1980 to 2001. The lower dollar inverted prices higher, created a half ass US economic recovery, but the higher prices inhibit consumption, and promote production, until there is “too much” stuff.

The two plus years of falling prices promoted more use and less production lately. Sooner or later TPTB had better drop that dopey dollar or a lot of producers are going to go out of business.

I’ve been bearish on gold for so long that my successively lower targets have become almost perfunctory. Lately, I’ve focused on a ‘Hidden Pivot’ target at $817, the attainment of which would presumably wash out the last of the die-hard bulls, clearing the way for a resumption of the long-term bull market. Now, however, I am obliged to consider an alternative possibility — i.e., an explosive move without the washout. Although I lack the imagination to envision such world-shaking news as might cause this to happen, I credit a relatively recent Rick’s Picks subscriber, Michael Gibbons, with jarring me awake.

Gibbons is a market-timer of legend himself, with a high-end service that offers precise, timely trading guidance for 30 vehicles, including commodities, index futures, ETFs, stocks and options. His take on gold, based on the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) report, is that a potentially major move may be close. It turns out that commercial traders have been drastically reducing their short-gold positions, presumably in anticipation of a trend change. Although the commercials are never net-long gold contracts, they are significantly less short than they’ve been in quite a while. And that is good news for gold investors, since, as Michael points out, these guys are seldom wrong at important turning points. The last time they had it exactly right was in May, when they were loaded for bear, so to speak, a day ahead of gold’s steep plunge from a rally spike to 1232 on May 18. The August Comex contract has fallen $160 since, or about 13%.

Over that time, commercial traders have covered a substantial portion of the short positions they held in mid-May. That could explain why gold has remained relatively buoyant during the last two weeks, hovering above a correction target of mine at 1059 without quite being able to reach it. According to Michael, the dramatic lightening of short positions by commercial traders has made a plunge in gold unlikely for now, if not impossible. He further notes that gold could still take another leg down, regardless of how the commercials are positioned.

For my part, no longer lulled to sleep by gold’s tiresome dirge, I will be more intently focused on the intraday charts; for they cannot but divulge the subtle beginnings of an important turn, assuming it comes.
