The Damage COSTS should come out of the EPA’s BUDGET   ,since they cant be sued  and TAXPAYERS are on the HOOK ,THE TAXPAYERS should recover the losses out of EPA BUDGET !   THATS what I would DO !

You may be right.  I made the assumption that the ‘pound’ would be the standard english measure of 16 ounces.  Did the ‘pound sterling’  creation predate the ‘troy’ measurement system?  I dunno…   Maybe maddog knows his local history better.

Either way… 16 or 12… it’s a goodly chunk of silver, and worth more than the present day ‘paper pound’.
