Part of the old “Rio Grande” (Denver & Rio Grande Western)
narrow gauge system into the mountains survives yet today
as the ‘Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad’. These old boilers
claw their way up steep inclines to crest 10K elevation
Cumbres Pass. Gata be gold in them thar hills!
