Lol on the beds. Next time which hopefully there isn’t anytime soon try to get a air bed or if they have a topper available. Bed sores can happen fast esp with circulation issues or in semi up right position which guessing you were most the time. Those beds made of plastic to make them easier to sterilize but hard on the body plus can cause sweating to some. If you can’t get either have them put a soft blanket down first then a sheet or too over it. If no blanket at least two sheets.
My youngest grandson just visited the hospital the other night due to baby Samson age three trying to help dad do yard stuff and tried to pick up a cement statue that landed on his foot and split it open. Mom wasn’t to happy. Was a trooper through the whole thing including the stitches. Strong little boy. All and all through work et all a hell week.
I figured out how to get a little girl to talk that doesn’t. Got her a little talking snow man as she likes a snow man cartoon figure on a movie called Frozen called Elof or something. This snow man repeats what you say. She signed in ASL Elof I said no his friend. With in a hour she after recording her frozen movie and others she started singing in it. Couldn’t understand what she was saying as can’t make words yet but the first time in her 10 years she has spoken. So a first step. Least something good came out of this week.
