Agreed on that Maddog. I remember when it started. At the beginning of the outsourcing or our manufacturing base. The USA’s bread and butter that supported all other gov’t jobs, sales and service occupations etc.
Their media started “greasing” the American public around 1975 with Vaseline news… like.
“We don’t like or want the dirty smoke stack jobs”
“We don’t like or want the out dated rust belt jobs.”
“We don’t want or need those menial jobs”
“We are going to be a service sector economy”
The American public, MOST OF WHICH back then were NOT employed in manufacturing or production employment and obviously didn’t CARE about those other most important occupations. After manufacturing and production occupations…
All others occupations are OVERHEAD and supported only by manufacturing profits. Leroy Grumman and his friend started in a garage. After PROFITING and making things of value, could they afford to hire a secretary etc.
