Gun control proponents and media allies also continue to push for mass confiscation
By Alex Thomas
(INTELLIHUB) — In a ruling that directly paves the way for mass confiscation of firearms in America, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, in a much-anticipated decision, has upheld the constitutionality of the New York SAFE Act of 2013.
Shockingly, the court ruled that nearly all of the most drastic gun control law in the history of the United States did not violate the Second Amendment and is therefore constitutional.
That’s right, a law passed in the wake of Sandy Hook that included and paved the way for confiscation of millions of legally purchased firearms has been ruled “constitutional” with proponents already calling for a similar law to be enacted at the federal level.
As an article published by the American Thinker noted, “If the SAFE Act is upheld by the Supreme Court, nothing prevents Congress from summarily outlawing tens of millions of firearms overnight. Once those firearms become contraband, the government may confiscate and destroy them without compensating the owner (just as the government confiscates and destroys illegal drugs).
“The Second Circuit’s decision leaves the Second Amendment in its gravest peril ever. Second Amendment rights are now hanging by a one-vote margin in the same Supreme Court that upheld Obamacare and declared a national right to gay marriage.
Constitutional conservatives and Second Amendment supporters ought to be terrified over the prospect of Justice Scalia having a heart attack during a Hillary Clinton presidency.” (and as we know Clinton is calling for mass confiscation herself)

“That train’s gotta be from the era of giant tail fins on cars!”
Bingo! Yep… 1964. I remember we had a Plymouth convertible with tail fins that were taller than me as a child.
The front design of the Aero Train reminds me of an Edsel. And it was just as successful! 🙂

at the salt water taffy stand. One of my friends worked in a carnie game tent. Many games were rigged. Hard to see, and very hard to catch people.
For example, throw the softball into the ole fashion milk jug hole. But inside the milk jug up high in the throat, they’d place rubber bands that kicked the balls out. When they wanted a winner, they’d pop the rubber band off the holding pegs and down into the container when retrieving balls.
I think the boys game all the stocks the same as any carnie liked to rip people off.

Very strange abnormal things going on. That huge jump in the Dollar combined with a big jump in gasoline and heating oil makes no sense at all.
I gave up trading a few years ago. Way too many false erratic irrational price moves. It became like trying to win one of those games at a carnival. You can’t. It has to be the computerized trading machines they got on Wall Street to replace market makers with machines.
Buy and hold a high quality company div paying company is the only way to go, and even that can sour if the wrong news comes out.

Well said. Like a revolving carousel of QE but the USD index keeps everything in check.
Read a ZH article about the East-West paradigm being non existent. I believe it to be true. Your turn to attack the middle east, no my turn, no your turn…..
None of these clowns will ever back their currencies with anything real.
BTW, what is a “loo”

is also doing great b/c it used to be if you wanted to find it online, you went to a no name or Ebay. Too many vendors screwed people over at Ebay with counterfeit products, overmarked garbage from China and poorly made items. Ebay was greedy and turned into Feebay or Fleabay my friends call it. Ebay and paypal want a HUGE cut for basically doing absolutely nothing. It might look like a high flyer right now but it deserves a good pounding. Why does Ebay own 25% of Craigslist? Makes no sense to me

Draghi trashed the Zero, which will cheer the Bundesbank/Germans up no end, as they always wanted an Italian to turn their currency into loo paper..still when they look at all their “New Friends” pouring in, they will be in an even better mood, as they realise they will soon live in a loo !!!!!
That’s why the Dollar is bid, as the EU is gonna QE/Pump to infinity as ZH says

Which of course meant that the Scum had to cap PM’s, big time..we are now in what looks like a revolving QE/Pump…..Fed…ECB…BoJ…rinse and repeat to eternity….Au shud have 4 noughts and counting already.
Cheers.

AMZN had blowout numbers, they weren’t affected by the strong dollar. MSFT too. GOOG Alphabet “C” too.
What’s the take away? AMZN is taking away business from WMT big time.
Why oh why didn’t we just buy AMZN and MSFT and GOOG Alphabet?? Stocks are soaring AH. They are Armageddon and USD proof!
Going to be a horror show for pm’s in the next week or two. JMHO

I began my professional career at a nuclear research facility , and part of the employment process was to be trained in the dangers of radioactive materials . We were shown a movie of a fellow who had worked in a hospital as a janitor . The hospital had a radioactive cobalt therapy unit for cancer treatments and he learned that the little cobalt pellet was worth a lot of money , so he found a way to steal it .
He put it in his pants pocket for the rest of his shift , then for some reason changed clothes or just put it in the other pocket . The pellet was not missed until the following day . It was easy to find the pellet with a geiger counter by just driving around the city . By the time they found it at his home , and now knowing his identity they arrested him at work . By that time he had a burn on each leg , which was then videoed , as was the daily progression of the damage to his body . Within a few days his scrotum was black and about the size of a small pumpkin … so he was castrated . By that time his thighs were becoming oozing , rotting flesh . A double amputation followed . He died within the following thirty days as I recall .
So , as others have posted , radioactive materials would not be good as currency . Besides they have decay half-lives … but so does our fiat fed money , come to think of it . The half life of money appears to be roughly twenty years .

I’m so confused though, the USD is also soaring, isn’t that supposed to be bad for US earnings??

“Many of the entries on the periodic table are immediately disqualified. Many elements are radioactive”
I don’t see a problem with radioactives as being money do you? Do they make one ounce plutonium coins? Just askin’
I guess you only get to use them once?

US Leading Economic Indicators Tumbles Most In 30 Months
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/22/2015 – 10:07
Missing expectations for the 3rd month in a row, US Lesading Economic Indicators (LEI) dropped 0.2% MoM. There has not been a bigger monthly drop since March 2013. Ironmically, initial jobless claims (which we have recently explained is now useless) was the largest positive contributor (after the yield curve steepness) but stock prices, average workweek, and building permits weighed heaviest.
