Thanks but that was a long time ago. I was lucky that was all. There were people blown out of their shoes.  Probably people with hearing problems now if there any length if time even with ear plugs. Maybe  could have had it done awhile ago but didn’t trust it yet. Later I ran into a patient from there, hand all black from burns. He was glad he had someone he could talk to who understood. Where he was was mucho dangerous. It all was but some places worse.

per Bloomberg this am…….. No geopolitical risk my arse

Is Turkey Lying: Rescued Russian Pilot Says There Was No Warning Before F-16 Opened Fire

He press on saying that “too many indicators showing terrorist threats have appeared on Turkish soil”, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday.

“We cannot leave everything that has happened without a reaction not because we have to respond somehow, that’s not it. Actually there have been too many indicators on Turkish soil that show a direct terrorist threat to our citizens.”

“I think that now we will insist on not just a list of members of this group, but also agree on the overall understanding of the channels the terrorists use to get their feedlines and support.”

“We will somehow probably have to deal with certain countries so that this support ends,” Lavrov added.

This tit for tat thing has been on going and growing since before the U.S.A. bicentennial. The might makes right approach for decades did not work. Normally, in a similar situation involving a friend or spouse hopelessly arguing to no end, the SMARTER of the two is supposed to give up. (tell your wife that) And or, if one calls in a domestic dispute to the police, the cop comes over and decides which one, husband or wife, has to leave the home.

Russia to Deploy S-400 Missile System Near Turkish Border

Moscow — Russia will deploy the S-400 air defense missile system in the Syrian airbase of Hmeimim, 30 kilometers (18 miles) from the Syrian-Turkish border, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced on Wednesday.

“The S-400 air defense missile system will be brought to the Hmeimim base at the decision of the commander-in-chief,” the minister said at a meeting with staff.

The move comes after Turkey shot down a Russian Su-24 strike jet on Tuesday near the Syrian-Turkish border claiming that the jet violated Turkish airspace. Moscow denied the assertion.

Russian aircraft are among the numerous nations conducting airstrikes in Syria. While Russian officials describe the operation there as “an anti-terrorism mission,” U.S. and other officials have said the Russian strikes are designed to prop up the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

This S-400 surface-to-air missile system can shoot down aerial targets at a distance of 250 kilometers (156 miles) and non-strategic ballistic missiles at a distance of 60 kilometers (37.5 miles). The system, an older generation of air defense technology, can also target as many as 36 targets simultaneously.

Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Turkey on Tuesday of being “accomplices of terrorism” and warning that the downing of the jet will “have serious consequences” for Russian-Turkish relations.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Wednesday that the relationship with Turkey has suffered a “damage difficult to compensate.”

Germany to withdraw its anti-air missiles from Turkey

The German Defense Ministry announced it is to end its border protection mission in Turkey and remove its missile-defense batteries from the country. The decision was taken due to “low ballistic missile threat” as well as the “high costs of the mission.”

The defense ministry confirmed that the contingent of the Bundeswehr, the German army, taking part in a NATO operation called Active Fence Turkey (AFTUR), along with its Patriot missile systems, would be withdrawn from the Turkish border by the end of January 2016, after its mandate ends.

In a statement published on the German Defense Ministry’s website, the ministry confirms it will not extend the mandate to protect the southern Turkish border beyond the two and a half years of service it has already rendered.

Ukraine says to stop buying Russian gas as Gazprom halts supplies

Posted by ipso facto @ 9:49 on November 25, 2015

KIEV/MOSCOW, Nov 25 A clash over natural gas pricing between Russia and Ukraine escalated on Wednesday with Russian exporter Gazprom announcing it would halt deliveries and Kiev saying it could find cheaper supply from Europe.

Moscow and Kiev have clashed over gas pricing repeatedly in recent years and Russia’s annexation of Crimea has worsened their relations.

“The government has decided to order (state energy firm) Naftogaz to stop buying Russian gas. It is not that they are not delivering us gas, it is that we are not buying any,” Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk told a government meeting.

“We are doing this because the price offers from our European partners are significantly better than those from our northern neighbour,” he said.

It was unclear whether private Ukrainian firms could still import Russian gas in future.

Russia Says Turkey’s Attack On Jet Was “Planned Provocation” As Ankara Moves Tanks Near Syrian Border

Tyler Durden's picture

On Tuesday evening, we took a close look at the circumstances surrounding Turkey’s decision to shoot down a Russian Su-24 near the Syrian border. The incident was the most meaningful escalation in the conflict to date and marks the first time a Russian or Soviet plane has been downed by NATO since 1953.

The pilots ejected, one of whom was shot in his parachute by FSA-affiliated Alwiya al-Ashar militiamen who subsequently celebrated over the body. About an hour later, the FSA’s 1st Coastal Brigade used a US-made TOW to destroy a Russian search and rescue helicopter, killing one Russian marine.

For his part, Vladimir Putin called Erdogan a backstabber and proceeded to accuse Turkey of flying the black flag of ISIS and funding the Islamic State cause by facilitating the sale of illegal crude.

Now the jerks on Bloomberg are saying ….

“The focus is turning once again to evidence that the U.S. economy is doing well, which takes the edge off any market jitters,” said Rosamunde Price, who helps oversee about $14 billion as chief investment strategist at Seven Investment Management in London. “Until tensions really blow up, then markets can cope with geopolitics. The assumption is that the big players won’t go to war over this, so they’ll have to sort it out.”

When I finally decided to see the eye doc about my eyes he said would be no problem getting rid of the scar tissue from chemical burns from another war days. Guess I waited too long Im noticing now all these  little things I missed, even on TV. Glad they told me after that they put something on the surface to melt the eye and scar tissue away. Found that out when I asked them what that was that made me go blind. Then had to walk around in sunglasses. Just had one done think I’ll keep it that way, seems good enough. Glad for others younger with all these wars won’t have to wait so long.

That’s the question. Why is the west involved? I can see why EU is to loosen dependence on Russia but why US? Money in peoples pockets? This global warming alternative energy might be more than just about money in their pockets.

You forgot about the Arabs. The Arabs are the ones who want a pipeline ” or according to what a Mid Eastern told me a bigger one” going to Europe. Eventually they will run out, then what ? Oh yeah build mosques spread Islam. A little adverse effect for the all.  Now China’s getting involved, go figure. Maybe time now to work on alternative forms of communication if you haven’t already.

goldie, Assad is a puppy compared to Saddam and Mommar, yet they all contained a wider chaos. Assad was a London eye doctor for cripes sake.

He has become the next Zionist sacrificial lamb for the purpose of water and Oded Yinon and not so much for this Shia/sunni pipeline divide.

Sykes Picot be damned because that was just another modern  Crusade dictat that failed.

The western world has no basis to be involved there. If they don’t want to sell the west oil and transit, let them eat sand. Way quicker than dropping bombs for peace.
