Loading ...I do know what you mean since I have been in the past 40 years from time to time a futures trader…and successful at it. keep a close watch and stops was the name of the game. sometimes I even had a long term trade of a couple of …..weeks 
just kidding I would do positioning maybe 3 or 4 times a year in a group trade or a swing of a few weeks etc. but that’s using leverage up to 20:1…now I use the etf 300% like uslv or nugt etc. only. I’ve retired my futures trading back when since I’m not willing to keep such close tract on any positions anymore. lazy yep! 🙂
