Anybody who has sat through the 3 or 4 years of declines would have to be crazy to sell now. What’s going to turn gold around? Alchemy?

My view is the short term top for Gold Was Feb 11th. Check the GLD chart. You’ll see a gold spike high and a very high volume bar that day, that usually show a turning point, relaxation, rest or digestion of the trend. Note the “correction” was very minor.

but today is the TOP for the First QTR even in a bull market there are down days coming for about two weeks..nothing major but nothing goes straight up ..its my opinion base on seasonal factors..

The momemtum is slowing down ,look at the Slow Stochastic a very reliable indicater.

The spread between% bullion price increase and %Stock price increase has narrowed for the leading stocks, the best stocks have exceeded the % increase even while some lag.This narrowing looks like a Pause period, before the next widening ….For the buy and hold guys just ride it out ,but for traders I believe a short term top is today !

Exactly like Dec 3rd, he re-confirmed, or reinforced, to investors, still betting on or pushing the old policy (momentum) my view of a new policy direction.

Lower Dollar, lower Dow, higher Gold, HIGHER Euro, and probably lower oil too. Draghi is a lot easier to “read” than Greenspan Bernanke or Yellen.

Does anyone remember my Dec 3rd posts, re Gold Bottom? It was a hole in one. None of the Gold gurus out their spotted it.

I certainly hope the DC dinner-hour partner swap works out for all four this evening.

Chinese bank joins LBMA silver fix

In a sign of China’s further influence in global financial markets, a major Chinese bank has been allowed into an elite club of bankers that sets the global price of silver.

On Sunday it was announced that China Construction Bank Corp (CCB) will become the first Chinese bank to participate in determining the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) silver price.

CME Benchmark Europe Limited and Thomson Reuters have operated the LBMA silver price since August 2014, when they took over responsibility from London Silver Market Fixing Limited. CCB will be the first Chinese bank and the sixth price participant, joining HSBC Bank USA NA, JPMorgan Chase Bank, The Bank of Nova Scotia, The Toronto Dominion Bank and UBS AG.

The move is significant because it gives China the power to influence bids that go into setting the official London silver price, thus boosting the importance of the Chinese yuan, or renminbi.

A disillusioned former member of Islamic State has passed a stolen memory stick of documents identifying 22,000 supporters in over 50 countries to a British journalist, a leak that could help the West target Islamist fighters planning attacks.

Leaks of such detailed information about Islamic State are rare and give Britain’s spies a potential trove of data that could help unmask militants who have threatened more attacks like those that killed 130 people in Paris last November.

A man calling himself Abu Hamed, a former member of Islamic State who became disillusioned with its leaders, passed the files to Britain’s Sky News on a memory stick he said he had stolen from the head of the group’s internal security force.

On it were enrolment forms containing the names of Islamic State supporters and of their relatives, telephone numbers, and other details such as the subjects’ areas of expertise and who had recommended them.

One of the files, marked “Martyrs”, detailed a group of IS members who were willing and trained to carry out suicide attacks, Sky said.

Richard Barrett, a former head of global counter-terrorism at Britain’s MI6 Secret Intelligence Service, said the cache was “a fantastic coup” in the fight against Islamic State.

“It will be an absolute goldmine of information of enormous significance and interest to very many people, particularly the security and intelligence services,” Barrett told Sky News.

so I think I will take advantage of this great weather and get outside and enjoy. Gardening is what is really on my mind anyhow. Figure the Gold Bull can fend for himself. Besides, it seems the fiiiillltthhhh just dont have the punch they used to. Perhaps candidates for Viagra??

But at least 20 years younger than before the surgery. I’ve now returned to all my previous duties and responsibilities on the farm/ranch and expect to have a great year….and future…. which I believe will be great for those who did not get bucked off the bull.
