the sunshine/vitamin d connection has a detail that most don’t realize. if you bathe often, you interrupt the process.
sunshine converts certain elements found in natural skin oils into vitamin d which is then reabsorbed into the skin. it takes some period of time for skin oils to build up on the skin, and even more time for the resultant vitamin d to be reabsorbed. bathing (especially with soap) stops this process and it reverts to zero to start over.
shower daily and you get more dates, but less vitamin d.
shower weekly and you get more vitamin d, but less dates.
