Our family would make up several baskets of beautiful flowers and distribute them around town to all the elderly. We would either knock on the door or ring the doorbell, then run and hide so they never knew who brought them the flowers. It was our way of bringing some happiness into their lives; letting them know that someone cared and was thinking of them.
