The accused shoplifter had not left the shop premises when he was arrested. I could put a package of hot dogs in my coat pocket and they could not charge me with shop lifting until I left the premises. As to stealing food because your hungry…Well if you are that desperate and your other option is starving to death then do what you gotta do.
