All who frequent goldtentoasis have heard endlessly and repeatedly through this site, and through Zerohedge and SGT Reports and King World News and JSMineset etc. that both fundamental and technical criteria point to a positive future for gold and silver. Collectively we hear of those favourable criteria so often that they seem to fade into meaningless echoes. And no matter how positive the PM outlook from people like Sinclair, Kirby, McEwen, von Greyerz, Maloney, Willie, etc. etc., none of their repeated predictions mean much while their views are exposed only (or mainly) through the internet forums such as the several named above.
A difference in the link below is that Boockvar got to express his PM outlook on CNBC. Things said about PM-related investments on internet forums frequented by investors already interested in the PM sector do not mean much because investors involved in precious metals are so few relative to the entire investing population. Boockvar’s views are already well known to users of goldtentoasis through his presentations on King World News. Because there are so few of us who follow the prominent internet PM-related websites, the views expressed there do not much matter. But when he, and others like him with a similar message, get to voice their views on the mainstream media like CNBC then significant numbers are going to take note. I think that is when we will begin to see upward momentum in precious metals as investment and insurance vehicles.
