You bet!

I bought some today. I think they’re very good mine developers and operators but obviously suck in their speculation skills. I doubt they’ll try and hedge and outsmart the market again. One of the reasons I bought was because they are a decent take over candidate.

Cheers

Ipso,

Thanks for posting the KLDX info. I have been tracking this stock and have been waiting for an entry point. If the Cartel mark stocks higher and the PM’s lower, it could be a good opportunity to start nibbling on KLDX and a few others.

Klondex killing it with the drill bit. Too bad they hedged most of their production at $1158 through the third quarter. I hope they’ve learned their lesson.

Take that back about twice this week, three times now. Might be a good wage negotiation but in my case it’s principle again not helping those starting out by feeding into it, The problem for most is they don’t have options anymore and just feeding into this abuse. So is mass immigration. Like someone said here no more cheap nanny a and plummers anymore. This is not the stone ages and even then they rebelled and dragged tyrant leaders out of their homes.

Just wait till Killary gets into office hopefully not. The banksters will run the world. Id make a bet on short market long hopefully gold if Trump gets in although like Britexit will stabilize. If KIllery gets in probably the opposite, initially unless globally people aren’t as clueless about her as the media wants them to be. Another user of people to promote herself along the way. Did you hear how some guy can’t remember who just died who was set to testify against her? They found him on a bench with a barbell on his neck, they ruled it a accident.

Awesome that you were able to manage your money as some not so smart about that, They spend like theres no tomorrow then tomorrow comes. Then used to to spend some what they call quality time now with the kids. That’s good. Problem with Maya though is no in off work like Union or teamsters. In fact they don’t even see people as a team working together anymore. There just something to use for their own bottom line. That has what it’s degenerated to complicated with gov regs and Obama  care. No teams just expendable  slots to fill and bottom like numbers. I quit a job like that because I wasn’t going to contribute to the abuse and get used to promote themselves in the process. Those promotions didn’t last and there still calling me, twice in one week lately. I’m not coming back. Besides making more money now. Didn’t start out that way because at a point I didn’t care up ended up that way. Funny how things can happen like that even if you didn’t plan it.

watch your language, folks!  i’m a recovering workaholic. i love lay – offs!

years ago, following a mid-life crisis (divorce at age 30 etc) i was visiting my home town, and i ran into my old scoutmaster.  he suggested that rather than looking for professional work, i might learn a trade.  he helped me get hired with the pipefitters at the shipyard in tampa.  long story short, i ended up as a union instrument technician.  most folks don’t know much about instrumentation, but it’s industrial controls.  kinda like the dashboard for a factory, or  a power house, or  a mine…  etc.  lots of it is done by pneumatics, and thus it is a specialty of pipefitting.  it was a wonderful change from anything i had ever done with my liberal arts degree.

most industrial construction projects come to an end, and everybody gets laid off.   to many a lay-off is a bad thing.  i came to cherish them.  the controls usually go on in the latter portion of a project.  projects are almost always behind schedule by then, and project managers deal with being behind schedule by putting on as much overtime as the law allows.  this led to the following situation:

i would get sent to a project (journeyman=you go to the job) where i would work seven days a week, twelve hours a day for two or three months straight.  with union wages and all that overtime, the paychecks are ASTOUNDING.   suddenly, when it all came together, and they started the puppy up, we were all laid off.  there i was with a basketfull of money (no opportunity to spend anything for months) and time on my hands.  time to go home and spend a few weeks (or months) catching up on my fishing before going down to the union hall to find out where i was going next.    a rough life?  puleeeze don’t throw me in that briar patch.

another benefit:  since everybody understood we were temporary, loyalty to any employer wasn’t expected.  i could “drag up”  (quit) anytime i wanted time off.   during the period my kids were little, i had them for six weeks every summer.  we formed a habit of long, rambling roadtrips – usually camping trips.  we did the rockies and the west several times,  the canadian maritimes once, and europe twice.  try taking off six weeks at a time from a white collar professional job.

My grandpa talked about that after coming home at the end of WW11. Many men including him couldnt find work because they told him he was over qualified. He used to own his own business to eben wirse, a competition. They figured like now that they won’t stay soon as something else comes along. It took years to pull himself out from under and eventually started his own business again. It’s almost like you have to undervalue what your doing or not even mention it. There can be pros and cons if you have experience they can use as a plus they won’t get with a less educated or experienced person if it’s relative. You just have to make it clear to them that per say you consider yourself semi retired and dont want to go back to that anymore, you just want a regular job and peace of mind. The thing is many of the less educated don’t hang around anyways ir less responsible showing up, that takes time and money on their part sorting that out, That you just want to work say another 5-10 years but don’t want to do what you’ve been doing anymore .. Or to supplement your retirement income and that kind of work you did pays too much for that. As semi retired you can only make so much I think 18K a year or will have to pay it back. They don’t have to know your not on it yet.

Speaking as one with experience, I am, for the next month or so…  one of the ‘unemployed’.  When you sign up for benefits, you are required to attend classes on how to put together a resume’ and look for work.  So I am ‘looking for work’.  When my benefits run out next month, I will drop off the ‘unemployed’ rolls  and become “out of work”.   But… I am still looking for work!

Fat chance of that happening for an over-qualified 63-year old in a ‘downsizing’ industry.

But hey… I did my best to keep the ‘unemployment rolls’ up for as long as I could… AND I got paid a modest amount for it!

Now I have applied for early Social Security.

I hope you folks can make Brexit happen, in spite of the media blowing smoke about it just being an immigration issue. Which to me, would be reason enough anyways. There is a story on Drudge that 300,000 more refugees are heading your way from Africa.

As for Hillary, our media is barely mentioning the 800 page report and most of the Headlines are declaring she did nothing wrong. Kinda hard to keep fighting the battle of Freedom when the press is bought and paid for buy the corrupt leaders. But fight we must.

Keep the faith brother.

Our MSM especially the TV ones have really lost the plot, the worst by far is the BBC, they are acting like we have made the worst mistake of all time and are desperate to talk up the idea of another vote, or just plain let MP’s ignore the 1 st one and have a vote to ignore the Brexit. It is surreal…..luckily we have St Nigel, who will hold their feet to the fire.

It’s basically a load of media luvvie types, in London crying because they won’t get cheap nannies or plumbers anymore.

As for the two years, this is because there is a Clause in the Lisbon Treaty, called Article 50 that allows a Member to leave…big of them I hear u say….The Leaver has to trigger the Clause and then the EU has to negotiate getting out over the next 2 years…should that fail then basically u get thrown out with no deals !!!

However the UK runs a £ 100 billion trade deficit with the EU, we are for example Germanys largest car mkt etc….the Head of their Business lobby, has said there will be no problem having a free trade deal, u don’t piss off your biggest customer etc. So far we are respecting previous trade and regulatory agreements……according to International Treaty law…..but we have left, if the EU tries to mess around, I’m sure we will walk and ignore their bleatings.

The EU bought off a lot of people and organisations, with their own money, the dumb schmucks didn’t realise it, but now they are squealing as they see it disappear.

Alexco having a good day. Lots of leverage at the point a mine goes from CLOSED to OPEN. (soon I hope)

Who is on first ?

COSTELLO: I want to talk about the unemployment rate in America.

ABBOTT: Good Subject. Terrible times. It’s 5.6%.

COSTELLO: That many people are out of work?

ABBOTT: No, that’s 23%.

COSTELLO: You just said 5.6%.

ABBOTT: 5.6% unemployed.

COSTELLO: Right 5.6% out of work.

ABBOTT: No, that’s 23%.

COSTELLO: Okay, so it’s 23% unemployed.

ABBOTT: No, that’s 5.6%.

COSTELLO: WAIT A MINUTE. Is it 5.6% or 23%?

ABBOTT: 5.6% are unemployed. 23% are out of work.

COSTELLO: If you are out of work you are unemployed.

ABBOTT: No, Obama said you can’t count the “Out of Work” as the unemployed.  You have to look for work to be unemployed.

COSTELLO: BUT THEY ARE OUT OF WORK!!!

ABBOTT: No, you miss his point.

COSTELLO: What point?

ABBOTT: Someone who doesn’t look for work can’t be counted with those
who look for work. It wouldn’t be fair.

COSTELLO: To whom?

ABBOTT: The unemployed.

COSTELLO: But ALL of them are out of work.

ABBOTT: No, the unemployed are actively looking for work. Those who are out of work gave up looking and if you give up, you are no longer in the ranks of the unemployed.

COSTELLO: So if you’re off the unemployment roles that would count as less unemployment?

ABBOTT: Unemployment would go down. Absolutely!

COSTELLO: The unemployment just goes down because you don’t look for work?

ABBOTT: Absolutely it goes down. That’s how it gets to 5.6%. Otherwise it would be 23%.

COSTELLO: Wait, I got a question for you. That means there are two ways to bring down the unemployment number?

ABBOTT: Two ways is correct.

COSTELLO: Unemployment can go down if someone gets a job?

ABBOTT: Correct.

COSTELLO: And unemployment can also go down if you stop looking for a job?

ABBOTT: Bingo.

COSTELLO: So there are two ways to bring unemployment down, and the easier of the two is to have people stop looking for work.

ABBOTT: Now you’re thinking like a Democrat.

COSTELLO: I don’t even know what the hell I just said!

ABBOTT: Now you’re thinking like Hillary.
