Hey Maddog

Many congrats, I stayed up late and got up early. This was one of the most exciting news events in my lifetime, really glad you guys pulled it off. Now we need to do the same here in the US and elect Trump to keep the populist revolution going…

BTW – I took your comments and instincts and bought some NUGT yesterday @ 98.50 and sold pre-market for 126.00. Only 50 shares. Also some UVXY yesterday AH at 9.50 and sold 1/2 pre-market at 15. Not big positions, but the way you were talking, and the sneaky way the bankers were placing bets with bookies to skew the odds, made me think Brexit had a good shot. So Cheers!

Think I saw you last night. 🙂

Tks… I am so happy that we voted out, not just because of all the obvious reasons…but because it will fall apart v soon, even if we stayed and then we would look like idiots for staying…now the Old Country can hold it’s head up again.

Re Greenspan and Scottish vote..

They may try to leave and even have a Vote…but with Oil at $ 50, they would be broke in a New York minute…we English pay then huge amounts, which would stop o/n…plus if the leave they have to apply to join the EU….in order to hopefully get the English subsidies replaced and if they do join they have to join the Euro as well, which is EU law….plus they can’t use our pound either..

In short they would commit immediate financial suicide, if they leave……Plus if there is one thing the Scots are famous for,it is deep pockets and short arms. !!!!!!!

Was up all night watching it all and later celebrating… Dunno if u saw it…but Farage conceded defeat as soon as Polls closed and I thought Oh ! No!, as he had a special Poll done for Ukip, showing a 6 percent win for Remain …but they were of known voters, if the turn out was big, then lots of the voters would be unknown and for leaving as they were already pissed off with the NWO Davos Crew etc………and that is what happened, they missed all the new voters, who hadn’t voted in decades…

So we were able to watch the Scum go from a smug confident victory, to a nervous wondering, to a slow dawning and ultimately to total slaughter, it was epic.

Then again we had not only the Queen on our side, but God himself, as London which was heavily Remain, was hit by huge electric storms of biblical scale during the morning rush hours, causeing huge flooding and travel chaos and then hit again in the evening, even harder,….resulting in a much lower turnout than across the country as a whole!!!!!!

JMHO but they are going to fail on both fronts both near and long term. We’ll see what happens in the SM after Europe closes, but aside from removing Trump from the face of the earth, there is no way they’ll stop him from getting to the White House. JMHO.

A New Balance Of Power In The Gold Market

Hey Farmboy

It took Greenspan getting out of the Fed to finally begin telling the truth. I watched the interview and he was honestly nervous about populism and falling wages and stagnation, coupled with entitlement spending. He said that wages needed to grow 4.5% per year just to sustain the entitlements. He said that the standard of living in Europe and the US was going to fall. No doubt we’re seeing that in real time.

Todays Market Game Plan

Posted by Farmboy @ 10:55 on June 24, 2016

Seems to be to get Gold down under the 200 Day Moving Avg and limit the Dow & Friends to less than 3% losses for the day. The Elites are running scared after the Brexit vote. They MUST contain the damage here and now. November looms in the distant future, and they simply cannot lose control, and allow Trump to reach the White House. Stay tuned folks, its going to be interesting.

Michael Ballanger’s article

This article specifically talks about the arbitrage that is developing between the Crimex and the Shanghai Hold exchange:

But if the price set in the Shanghai physical market is higher than in the paper markets — reflecting the different aims of the respective sets of traders — then it becomes profitable for holders of long futures contracts in the West to demand delivery of the metal, ship it to China and sell it at the higher Shanghai price.

Once this process gets going it will quickly clear out the inventories of the Western exchanges, leaving nothing for future arbitrageurs. The exchanges will then force those wanting delivery to accept cash instead, in effect defaulting on their promises. Then it’s game over, with the big futures manipulators no longer a factor in pricing.

Buygold, The Old Geezer Greenspan Says Brexit Just Tip Of The Iceberg

Posted by Farmboy @ 10:41 on June 24, 2016

Former Federal Reserve Chair Alan Greenspan told CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” on Friday that the U.K. voting to leave the European Union “is just the tip of the iceberg.”

Britons voted by 51.9 percent to quit the 28-country union, shocking markets that had priced in a win for “remain.”

“The problem that’s causing the British problem is far more widespread,” Greenspan said.

The former Fed chair explained that the result of the referendum will “almost surely” lead to the Scottish National Party trying to “resurrect Scottish Independence.”

“This is the worst period, I recall, since I’ve been in public service. There’s nothing like it, including the crisis… This has a corrosive effect, which is not easy [to make] go away,” Greenspan said.

Greenspan went even further and said that the “euro currency is the immediate problem.” While the euro and the eurozone were major steps in a movement towards European political integration, “it’s failing,” he said.

The former Fed chair said that the fundamental problem is that “real incomes are not going anywhere.”

This is a breaking news story. Please check back for updates.”

Primero Mining wants Canadian Gov’t to intervene in tax dispute with Mexico

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:21 on June 24, 2016

Canada’s silver producer Primero Mining (TSX:P)(NYSE:PPP) could throw a wrench into the North American Leaders’ Summit next week, as the miner wants Ottawa to intervene in its tax dispute with Mexico.

The Toronto-based company, which owns the San Dimas gold-silver mine in Durango, Mexico, launched earlier this month a NAFTA challenge against the Mexican government arguing that local tax authorities were trying to improperly collect more taxes from them.

The dispute between Primero Mining and Mexico centres on how it is taxed on the sale of its silver, which the company has called it “neither fair nor equitable.”

The dispute centres on how the Mexican government taxes the foreigner miner on the sale of its silver.

In 2012, a Mexican court ruled Primero should be taxed based on what’s known as the “realized price” of the metal, which is a slightly over $4 an ounce. This price is much lower than the market value for silver, which is currently trading above $17 per ounce.

The Canadian firm had argued it should be taxed at the lower rate because it is contractually required to sell a large portion of its output to another company, Vancouver-based Silver Wheaton (TSX, NYSE:SLW), at the lower realized price.

But in February, the Mexican tax authority — SAT — decided to retroactively overturn that 2012 deal.

In its latest statement, Primero accused SAT of being “neither fair nor equitable” in its actions towards the company.

Farmboy – here, here. Trump stands against the elite

Ipso – It will be quite the coup if they can take silver negative, bring the SM back and get gold back below 1300

I hope they don’t but they are sure defending 235-240 HUI like it’s the last line of defense.
